Anita Iseghoni Donates to Motherless Babies Home

The former beauty queen (MBGN 2004) donated several baby items to the Motherless Babies Home, Lions Village, in Lekki some days ago. Good stuff...

  4. TRUTH HURTS BUT I NO SEND17 October 2011 at 23:39

DONATING TO THEPOOR DOES NOT COVERUP FOR THE BILLIONS YOUR HUBBY LAUNDERED THROUGH YOUR 'SUDDEN' BUSINESSES. HISSS. SOME NAIJANS ARE TOOOOOOOOO CORRUPT, IGNORANT, AND SUFFER FROM SHORT ATTENTION SPAN TO EVEN NOTICE WHAT SHE IS REALLY REALLY TRYING TO DO either that or they too are trying too hard to bag a billionaire to do the very same thing.

  6. maybe the publicity is to push others to do more too(i hope so) God bless you and from what i can see u got the more expensive better quality pampers and not the cheaper ones you could have gotten.nice!!!

  7. Good to know she's giving but can Naija celebrities pls understand that they are so uniquely positioned they can choose a cause or charity even this motherless babies home and GET others to donate to the cause.

If she said for example, this home needs money to expand their facilities, pls join me in raising 'X' amount. For this reason, we are holding a car wash day at so & so, people will contribute and some companies might even be willing to donate.

This will meet a need of a higher magnitude and it will give others the opportunity to help. And best of all, raise her profile better.

We love all the indomi & rice giving but they can do so much more.

  8. this is really impressive. she got really expensive baby items. enfamil is one of the more expensive baby food. God bless her heart. I wonder if she has any kids of her own

  9. "Motherless Babies home"
Isn't that a cruel word to use linda.
    It should be Orphange.

  10. @anon 11:21pm,Ajalahtravel,Anon 11:36pm u guys spoke my mind. From my investigation, she delayed the "donation" for 2 months cos the preferred camera man wasn't available....just kidding!

However what is needed is genuine effort to alleviate poverty. And your action will definitely speak even when you don't.

  12. Donate enfamil to motherless babies home! when it finishes what will d baby continue with? y dont u donate something that is more affordable and probably easily reachable if another person wants to donate! Nice one sha, but re-think what u r donating next time!

  13. is her hubby finally off the hook? instead of donating a few items and waiting again for another year why not chose a charity close to your heart and try raise funds for the particular charity every year through events? how come people forget old peoples homes? lepers colony? people living with HIV?am tired of seeing people smile for the camera just to make news...raise 1 million thru' a dinner or auction every year instead. buy clothing materials shoes etc. how are we so sure that such items don't go home with the officials of the homes? just speaking my mind.

  14. I dont understand why she has to publicize it. Cant she donate quietly and move on. I subscribe to the school of thought that your right hand should not know what your left hand is doing. philanthropy like this should be personal between you and your God. This one you have to let the world know that you are doing charity and even taking pictures of the items you donated is not charity to me

  16. Just asking....Do they still have this enfamil in Nigeria?Enfamil changed their product to premium more than 2 years ago ?
7000 for a can..wool..E bi like say I go start Enfamil biz in Naija o
My point is,she should have gone with the cheaper brand cos from my experience with Enfamil and two kids,it's hard to switch babies to a different formula after using Enfamil

    Nice Gesture though.
Btw,I have access to hundreds of cans of baby formula that most times get wasted,Does anyone have any idea on how to get them to to Naijaoo..(I once tried to ship, but the shipping cost they quoted for me was ridiculous)

  17. Donation is a noble gesture..let God be the one to honor you!!!..it is in very very poor taste to give donations with the cameras in tow..it begs to question the sincerity of the donation!!...this "LOOK AT ME SYNDROME"" of nija ppl is very low class and trashy, and comes from a place of very low self esteem..only the govt should get away with it at least ppl want to see how you are spending the govt's money...but everyday ppl displaying themselves is unnecessary...it is only in nija that ppl can get away with this flagrant display of attention!!!

  20. Congrats Anita, at least you are better than Madam "I have a good heart" Karen Igho, who took the media with her to donate only cheeese balls and two cartons of indomie, caprisonne to motherless baby after winning $200,000.

  21. SOCIALITES AND CELEBRITIES 'USE' THEIR 'CELEBRITY' AND 'STATUS' TO BRING PUBLICITY AND AWARENESS TO ISSUES AND CHARITY SO THAT REGULAR PEOPLE LIKE YOU AND I AND GET OFF OUR ASSES AND DO SAME IN PRIVATE...OR PUBLICLY TO ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME!!!! SO ENOUGH ALREADY WITH THE DUMB ASS QUESTIONS!! GO AND DO YOUR OWN SHARE NOW THAT YOU ARE AWARE

  22. These 2 naira Nigerian celebrities should stop thinking that Nigerians are stupid. Spending about N30k now at the orphanage can now buy you cheap publicity. And all these yeye bloggers who promote them too are low lives. What are they gonna do next?. Show us the picture of their tithe and a nice photoshopped photograph with the pastor?. Shame on her---Gbenga

  23. @Gbenga 11:15pm. How can you just call someone a lowlife just like that for reporting another person's good deeds. I hate involving myself with the bitchfest that sometimes goes on here but it's fools like you that can't let me stay away. I bet in your life you've never done a good deed for a needy soul and yet you can sit your miserable soul in front of a 2penny desktop computer writing trash. Can you imagine?
The lowlife guy dey vex me seriously

  24. you do good them go complain you do bad them go still complain people can never be satisfied,
    besides
elenurazor there is a reason why one diaper is cheaper than the other its cos one is better(duhhhhhh)as a mum i know so abeg go and rest.people are saying we need to re orientate our minds over corruption ur here attacking diaper comments.

  25. God bless you. Its really good stuff she donated. Enfamil infant milk is so expensive. Whether she did it publicly or not, its the gesture that counts. May God reward you a thousand fold.Amen

  26. The question is where did Linda get the photos? Did the lady send it to her or she got it off an article? I worked with a nonprofit organization in the United States and whenever we were about to do community service, we always invited the press and handed-out press reports. We were not doing it to show off but for publicity, to give other people a chance to contact us to do likewise in their establishment. If this lady, was doing this from her heart, then her PR team are utilizing this approach. Grow the eff up, get off your lazy butts and go put a smile on someone's face today.

  28. She has gotten her reward already by dis open show of giving to an orphanage.D good Lord says wen we give we should give in secret so dat He wud reward us but wen we make an open show of it,we shud nt expect any reward from Him.And by d way lots of pple give without broadcasting it.she shud learn dat humility,is a VIRTUE

we need to re-orientate our minds judging by your pointless comment
