  8. @Sakara - actually, it is COMMON to see women dressed like this for carnivals ALL ACROSS the Caribbean. EVERY YEAR. Rihanna was exposing just as much as probably 90% of the women and men who will be going on parade on carnival day. Just because you don't do that where you're from gives you no license to insult her.

  9. ladyjaye there's a difference btw Rihana nd those 90% women u talked about.....she's a public figure that younger ones look up to...i'll not even trade words wt u here, 'cause u need to hear what Joan Rivers called her n fashion police....i rest my case...& hey i dont see any insult here, we r all just expressing our opinions..u dont v to buy it...but ts freedeom of typing...innit????

  10. @Sakara.......no dey show urself for public. This is a normal outfit during their festival .

me i know say i no fit wear am but thats me. I have been to a couple of these them festival and the outfit no dey cover anything for body and even the dance (**cough , lets not even go there)

When i was to Uni in yankee , even the "born again" christians when they preach the bible, I see them dey wear such one the festival day

  11. Rihanna always says that she is not anybody's role model, so she does what she wants with her life. so saying younger ones look up to her, she doesnt care.

  12. Sakara, You have very limited knowledge and unfortunately, u aint ashamed to display it.Don't be thinking that the world revolves around u & nothing should be different. So riri 'jumping crop ova bim' and they r making it look like she was in the streets dressed like that alone? i think u should try and accept and tolerate other ppl's culture. it is theirs. You need to google "carnival" and get out of ur box.
u r talking about her displaying 'vital organs for public consumption', which one of her vital organs did u personally consume????
Have u seen d zulus? those virgins that dance around topless? you can google that too.
All she did was a bit of culture, and till u attend it, or google it, u wldn't understand. She wasnt dancing around naked. This particular occassion is very much her culture and most of d women dress like that too. London carnival is coming up this month, u can come and witness a very small aspect of it.
I can't wear it, not part of my ibo culture, but it is hers. appreciate.
The worst kind of people r those that don't know, and refuse to learn!
