Rich Kids Joyriding in Abuja. Sometimes Bystanders Are Injured or Killed. Watch!

It's an old video, but you need to see it, especially the 1.40mark. If you live in Abuja, is this still going on?

  1. My Sister told me about this madness. They must all be crazy, and who said rich people are above the law. Please Law enforcers should get them now. What nonsense.

  2. This happens in many major metropolitan areas, and some rural ones in the west. Naija is no different in that regard.

    Boys will be boys...

Best thing to do is educate people on the dangers of staying by the roadside to watch, they should sit on the bridges or embankments

  3. They are copying Emirati ( إماراتي‎)kids. They should face the consequences of their irresponsible behaviour.

  8. i love cars and i love doing all kinda stunts with them. but i so condemn this.!!! Safety for thers first before we start thinking about safety for the drivers that have decided to put their lives at risk.

  9. Linda, I live in Abuja and d first time I saw dis on Saturday, I tot they were armed robbers cos it was about 6:30pm and the popular Wuse market had closed as usual and the traders were walking en masse towards the "venue" to watch a great show. I did my investigation and found out that the guys who "entertain" Abuja residents this way are actually children of the so called "high and mighty". It has actually stopped but d in thing now is Power bikes. I've some mad videos on some stunts these guys pull every Saturday. Any Abuja resident should go to this same spot as shown in this video or in front of Ceddi Plaza, Central Area. After these guys end their madness, people rush to them as if to get their autographs.

  11. the car shows still happen but were stopped for a bit. people who get injured are not passersby but people who stop to watch, if i am going sum where and see them i simply use another route, but certain people love the thrill of it and actually park their cars to watch! and once the Police arrive every1 takes off! crazy stuff it is.

  12. i THINK NIGERIANS SHOULD LOOSEN UP.tHE ONLY THING i SEE WRONG IS THAT THESE STUNTS ARE PERFORMED ON PUBLIC ROADS.I WILL SUGGEST THEY LEASE A GROUND SOMEWHERE AND THEN DO THEIR THING.

PEOPLE DONT HAVE MUCH TO DO IN NIGERIA AS RECREATIONS SO THIS SHOULD ACTUALLY BE ENCOURAGED BY IT HAS TO CONTROLLED AND EVERYONE INVOLVED SHOULD BE INSUREDOR GET ARRESTED

  14. You people have cables and DSTV where you watch all sorts of sports. This is stunt and its big money overseas. They should be encouraged to structure , organize and make it risk free by making sure that there is Red-cross or paramedics personnel to take care of any eventuality.

The law enforcement agencies can relocate them to a free-zone area while making sure that every risk factor is checkmated. then people can come and watch for a fee.

These are boys and if they decide to channel this energy into sport it would be better than to channel it into robbery or kidnapping. stunt Men are millionaire overseas.

  15. From some of the comments clearly, there are lots of stupid people around. Why is it that we only copy bad things and not good. No-one is above the law except in Nigeria.
