Bella Naija Team Visit Beat 99.9 FM

Olisa Adibua, Bella Naija's CEO Uche Eze and Oreka Godis

The Founder, Music Editor, Fashion & Style Editor and Business Development Analyst of Nigeria's No.1 Entertainment/Lifestyle website, Bella Naija, visited Beat 99.9fm's Morning Rush with Olisa and Oreka sometime last week in celebration of Bellanaija @5.

I need to get my own team too o. I am the founder, style editor, business development analyst, accountant, music editor, news editor, gossip editor, gbo gboé and gbo gboé of this my blog. Get some class, Linda, wth? lol. But I kinda like it 'cos I don't have to share my ad revenue with anyone *wink* *wink*. No, I'm not greedy, I'm just having a ball doing this alone. But I plan to expand soon sha!

Big congrats to Bella Naija at turning 5.

  11. lin you really need to start getting a prof.team cuz even if your getting all d cash your blog is not up to BN's website but on the other hand you might not really need a team at this stage cuz BN website not only provides us with news & gossip etc it also has wedding,music/movies,style and beauty forums unlike your blog which explains why she probably needs her team

  15. Congrats to Bella, i was one of her first readers when she started in '06 and was leaving comments on everyone's blog to check out her site. She has done alright for herself however she has lost quite a few readers (not saying this affects her hits/days or anything) from the "OVER CENSORSHIP" she does While i totally get her not promoting the kind of circus that goes on here on Linda's blog, she and her team have damn near made it impossible for folks to share thier opinion on an issue, even if it is done in a tactful, respectful way.If your comment is in anyway sarcastic, or takes a jab at her socialite/ challenged designer friends u can be rest assured she ain't posting it. But God help you if you are some D-list hollywood actress (i.e Mercy Johnson) u would see the hate flying all over her website, oh she "gats" to publish that*****Rolling my eyes***

My point is if you are going to implement a "no hate on my blog" policy, stick with it at all times, no bloody favoritism!!!

Not everyone will have pleasant things to say about your articles or write-ups on designers that you think are so fab! at all times, as long as its done in a tasteful way i don't see why thier opinions should not be heard. And yes, just in case you were wondering this topic came up at a dinner i had with friends and everyone had the same thing to say about her website, not just moi.

I do wish her the best though, however she could use a chill pill, seriously, u are not no Huffington Post dear, build a bridge already and get over yourself!

Now let the Bella butt kissers proceed to attack....

  16. This post reminds me of high school ---> the advantages of sole proprietorship! hahaha

Anyways, Linda like someone said - you can do a one man (woman) show right now when you get the domain name, as your blog/website isn't that broad.

Also, what happened to volunteering? I'm sure some people (me included) are willing to help out while you expand. I need the media experience, you need my know how.

    Linda, hit me up!!
