The incident occured on Thursday June 23 at Obanikoro, along the Ikorodu expressway in Lagos. Trouble started around 8a.m. when an army officer took the BRT lane restricted only to BRT and LAGBUS. State Task Force stopped him and tried to impound his car...the army man say lailai...he then called his people, na im wahala start...lol.
Fortunately no deaths were recorded and no shots were fired in the crisis that lasted about two hours, but three Army officers and a police officer suffered injuries after being beaten up in the resulting fracas. More pics when you continue...

facking barbarians!!
ReplyDeletesuch a shame and an embarrassment. anyway, some people think they're above the law, serves him right. smh.
ReplyDeletesigh I wish they can talk this aout amicably but the Army really should not be on the BRT lane!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe officer should be dismissed and thrown in jail. stupid fool, does he have 10 heads?
ReplyDeleteStupid poeple. Instead of them to go and face boko haram they are busy displaying stupidity MCHEWWWWWWWWWWWWWW I pity them
ReplyDeletelin, who win 4 d fight?
ReplyDeleteIs these what we have to contend with every now and then? l think both uniform men should learn to tolerate one another for better harmonization and dignity of the Nigeria state that they claim to represent.
ReplyDeletei dont knw why this army officers always feel superior ssssssswwww!!!
ReplyDeleteSo who's going to keep the peace when soldiers and policemen can't settle things amicably between themselves? I'm guessing both groups were power drunk. Shameless people
ReplyDeleteI understand that the Military guy is at fault, But there is something we call Courtesy because they are both in government forces, This two People re forces. They should settle it among themselves amicably. If he has done same offence and has been caught several times then they should arrest him and charge him , The Police man Should have given him courtesy as a one time favor, Except he has committed same offence before which from the news Linda posted there is noting like that. C.O.O.M
ReplyDeleteis it snowing in nigeria?
ReplyDeleteAnon 5.09pm
ReplyDeleteAre kidding me?What courtsey are you talking about. You committed an offence and you expect courtsey.
Every1 know you cant drive on the bus lane so if you and u are caught you car will be towed and you pay the fine irrespective of wheather u are a civilian or not.
It is same law for every1.
How do u know if he has done that before or not?
yarn hobbit...lololol. help me ask oh. that jacket na another dimension to heat and body odour
ReplyDelete@ Annon 5:09pm, Courtesy??? Are you having a laugh? SMH. The point here is that he knows the law and should not be breaking it, he is not above the law like everyone else, but again it is Nigeria, and the only place your comment is acceptable. The military man broke the law period!!
ReplyDeleteWell done to the police for standing their grounds!
ReplyDeletei can see only policemen all over the place!! and one army man was giving them tough time!! gutless cops.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Shame your source didnt film it. I love the show of force :)
ReplyDeleteTu Much.
harmony and tolerance between the police and the army are not the issue here...the issue here is purely law enforcement...let me quickly remind our police officers that they have the powers to arrest any offenders including any serving military personnels...simply put, no one is above the law...uniform is not a defence in breaking the law
ReplyDeletemilitary dictatorship is over!!!!.......i dont think someone got the memo
ReplyDeletei think what the policemen did wasnt right, he is an officer, in as much as he is on uniform, its shows that he is on duty and could be on an assignment. dont u guys see how other officers do in developed countries, when on uniform. i think BRT line or not. He should be allowed to pass without any fight, cos as uniform men, they are always on duty to serve this nation. God bless Nigeria. Uche
ReplyDeleteThe most unfortunate thing is that civilians are always at the receiving end...to hel with them.
ReplyDeletewhat d hell is d military feeling like are they trying to say they are above d law?hissssssssssssssssss
ReplyDeletei feel so sorry for the army officer. a foolish decision and now he has lost his job. we shld all learn from this
ReplyDeleteLook at the third picture! Even the poster on the bus has the lady *with mouth wide open* saying "Haaa, haba"!!!!
ReplyDeletethe brt lane is also supposed to serve as an emergency lane for ambulances and government forces on EMERGENCY duty that the man is on military uniform shows he is on active service for the nation stopping him or trying to restrict his movement is not only ill informed but in the circumstance not ideal .even if we consider it from the standpoint that he was not on an emergency the corp spirit is supposed to let the policemen let him off his superiors would not hear that he was late bc of traffic -
ReplyDeleteApparently the soldier has been dismissed

Now i am happy. ALL animal should be equal. The crazy soldiers have destroyed the country with their shameful uniform. Everybody obeys the rule and laws in advance nations. Next time , they would not do it. Thanks to the GOOD policemen.
