Genevieve at the Ghana premiere of Mirror Boy |
Yes, yes, yes, another Genevieve Nnaji post...bite me! lol. I love the weave...the best I have seen on her. The Imperative word here is...I, I as in Linda. Your opinion might differ, speak it, don't abuse me...:-)
I'm seriously laughing here. More Genny! *eyesrolling* I like her so no sweat.
ReplyDeleteI actual prefer straight weave-on. I favour it over body wave and all the other curly wurly ones.
Pretty woman!!
Aha, the JBL dress is clearer in this picture. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is getting to irritate me with this thing of you and Genny, Is she the only Actress in Nigeria? Or you dont other news to share. Please adjust jor
ReplyDeleteWhat do you like again about the weave?!!! Is her weave not too full?
ReplyDeletedont u worry Linda. i am a die hard Genny fan too. I love her. Love her dresss.not been seeing her in movies lately. any reason.
ReplyDeleteI agree, the weave is on point as is the entire package. She looks great!
ReplyDeletebuhahahahaaha..............
ReplyDeletethis Linda is a stubborn goat!
lwtmb
all of u getting irritated should know the trend by now.
have y all forgotten how she almost choked us to death with dakores jist early this year???
if she shine eye for dakore na dakore jist u go dey hear if she shine eye for don jazzy na don jazzy jist you go dey hear if she shine eye for beyonce na beyonce jist u go dey hia
if she shine eye for rihanna na rihanna jist we go dey hear.
The more you complain about linda posting on a particular celebrity the more she takes time out to dig their jist and so she'll keep rubbing it in our faces.
This Linda is just to stubborn.
and i LOVE her for it!
Linda i m certain if u were a guy, Genny wud nt be single by noww....U too like d girl wetin happen...Love d weave too sha...She looks fab in dat dress.
ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteLinda you gotta stop with this Geney this,Genny that. You will ruin ur own blog
Aww absolutely stunning Genevieve!! This gal is just soooo amazing. Linda you have a good eye o jare..ignore the sawa belles, let dem be forming Steven Wonder there.
ReplyDeletelol leave linda o! very soon linda would be the only one posting topics and commenting all by herself...since it is now you against your bloggers...abeg juh make ur blog more fun and interesting people get bored easily with the same celebrity everytime!
ReplyDeleteLinda get away!!! Your GENE-CRACY is making me to have bad feelings for Gene that i so much love....please you should lets see other equally fine girls on this blog....enough is enough!!
ReplyDeletelinda how much dis nnaji girl dey pay you self ? I hate weave on any blackwoman period, dats why i only date mixrace women.
ReplyDeleteplease linda pack!!!!we go soon drive you commot from this blog.....it belongs to us, not you,and i think we have the right to choose who we want to see here. No more genevive here for the next 6 months....thats my verdict(i rise!!!)
ReplyDeletedid you people not read the headline of the story. it is her opinion, if you dont want to hear about Genevieve, ex the page abi!! Some blogs show kanye west everyday, you dont hear people bitching and moaning. Damn!!
ReplyDeleteDid she have a lip job?...Just asking..:)
ReplyDeleteShe looks terrific in that dress. Some of you just pay attention to nothing! Now that's more boring!
Linda u seem to really dig weaves oh, I hope it doesn't determine your worth though! do a research on it and just maybe you would have a change of heart.
ReplyDeleteGenny rocks though weave or not!
@Linda aabegii jaree,,,,no mind them,,,,na dem mouth,,me i like genneviv.........she looks good here,,she look so much like Vivica Vox.......
ReplyDelete@Alicia,,,you dey sleep,,i neva see your comment here oo............Abeg no yab me oo.....i just dey miss u.....
ReplyDeleteLinda, Please take correction. Genevieve Nnajis weave .... Love it, not Loves it !!!!!!
ReplyDeletelinda ikeji nnaji!
ReplyDelete9:23 carry your crap elsewhere. thats why i only date mixedrace women? who the hell asked you? nonsense.
ReplyDeleteanyone that does not want to see genny should EXIT this blog. this is a Nigerian blog, and she will talk about all things NIGERIAN, including our stars, genevieve. i will agree that she should dump talking about the american stars, as we need to totally absorb Nigerian gist here.
anyway, genny looks HOT! and Linda, you could have just said i like genny's hair or hairstyle. yes we know its a weave, but do you need to state "i like her weave"? if you see a friend that just got her hair done, are you gonna jump and say "GIRL, I LIKE YOUR WEAVE!" common now.
if you have people sponsoring your blogg, i hope you know dat they have the power to stop giving you money because of the various complains people are making about you and your stubborness.
ReplyDeleteThis ur stubborness will only make your blogg unpopular and boring for readers.
Iam sure, you know dat no sensible corporate organisation will want to sponsor an unpopular blogg.
If you think, it cant happen, wait and see.
Yes, nice weave on Genny. But linda, there is nothing fantastic in this Genny hairstyle dat is worth writting news about.
And thanks for correcting me, i now know how to spell the word bias correctly. i wont make such mistake again.
foolish anon 9:23PM. u only date mixed race women because u hate weaves on black women. so what about dating black women who dont do weave? NO u wont because ur excuse/reason for dating ONLY mixed race women is pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLinda, it's love it!...not, Loves it!
ReplyDeleteYou are an English major right? At least you wrote a book...or someone wrote it for you? I'm just saying!!! lol
hahahahahah Linda you are something else believe me. as in been too funny and what are you afraid of if i may ask? well, i love you for who you are seriously and i ve my reasons to say so.
ReplyDeletejust return from trip that took me out of the country and decided to read-through you as usual. have a lovely week end. always on your side.
James
bad belle pipo ggo soon die. abei my name sake carry on jare.any time any day wen it comes to celebrities my genny rocks and weda anyone likes it or yes.we r nt tired of hearing about ha.but try mix am sha.i love u lym.i love gennydts our opinion lol
ReplyDeleteThe dress is still looks like crap up close
ReplyDeletethe weave?!! arrghhhhh shes ordinary jor nothing so fab abt her style
ReplyDeleteI love the weave too. Straight weaves also looks good on me *wink* *wink*
ReplyDeletelinda please can u tell me where i can buy that weave the original one i seriously nid it please help!!
ReplyDeletelinda it's a tad derogatory to publicly declare a woman's hair as 'fake', whether you are complimenting or not. people go through such lengths to make them look natural and blend-in for a reason. nice weave is never a compliment unless the person is holding the weave in hand. please take note.
ReplyDeletelinda you are really getting it wrong here...nobody really cares which celebrity gist you crowd your blog with but without ur readers you cant get paid..precisely ur earnings is a direct function of ur blog viewership.
ReplyDeleteIt's exactly 10 hrs since u posted dis Genny gist and you've got only 15 comments.. Very much unlike ur blog and to thinks it was posted on a friday night sends a red alert signal cos friday evening till saturday noon has d highest number of traffic on the internet
There's no one susceptible to failure, go ask Mike Tyson..."if you are asked to cook for a community thats no problem but if a community is asked to feed you na you go run"....Keep up the good work.
the issue is that the girl is just been overrated for nothing.
ReplyDeleteOh Linda, glad you corrected your English *wink*!
ReplyDelete@ ANON 9.23PM, You dont even know what they are called but you date them!!! "mix race women", abeg commot for road jo, agbaya! You definitely have a chip on your shoulders Dude!
ReplyDeleteWow she is always in the news.
ReplyDeleteThis time she looks more like rihana. Lol.
Anon 9:23pm the same way you date only mixed race (the word is bi-racial) is the same way the smart girls in this blog or any blog for that matter date only guys comfortable with who they are not some guy with a moronic outlook to life that's plagued with 'jungle fever'
ReplyDeletehmm...layered peruvian...colour 2....10 inches and 20/22 inches. Go ahead Linda...do it.lol
ReplyDeleteNice hair, but its the usual.
ReplyDeleteI agree nice weave!
ReplyDeleteLinda wats happening to your blog na?Is it that there is shortage of gist?
Before i forget, what happened to Genevieve & bond girl.As her publicist you should have kept us up to date.Saw the latest on nairaland and have been waiting to see it here.
nice woman jenny
ReplyDeleteNkem June 24, 2011 11:09 PM, you are wrong and this is the third or fourth time we are addressing this.
ReplyDeleteLoves it; means Linda's/she's talking about herself in the third person.
It's a short form of;
1) LINDA LOVES IT
2) SHE LOVES IT
SMH @ Comments and foolish advice.
ReplyDeletei say "loves it" all the time. I know its incorrect, but i like saying it cause....idk, i just do. leave Linda, i think her "loves it" thing is intentional.
ReplyDeleteah ah! we went almost two weeks without any genny gist, just within the last 4 days genny started to reappear on this blog, and the complaints start again. mtchewww.
Na wa o. People its not that serious.. Whats with threatening to stop visiting the blog so Linda will stop earning money?? Jeez! Thank God say man no be God sha. Am a new comer here and i have been recruiting people daily so if u like waka, make chance de sef. Pscheew. Love Genny's hair btw.
ReplyDeletewhy is every body shouting Genevieve i dont even like her any way japhet from india
ReplyDeleteGenny who? Whodat? Na her hair? No. End of story abeg
ReplyDeleteI see what Linda is trying to do... right next to the first pic is a weave advert using the same hairstyle.
ReplyDeleteLinda is just promoting her biz because I'm sure she gets paid per click from her site.
Nice try babe; but mo ka e mu, mo get ee!!!
You don't like any story on genny yet you click on the stories. It's stupidity to say Linda will lose ads/money because some of you probably the same set of people o complain of genny's stories. The girl is a star deal with it and her stories probably attracts more clicks anyway.
ReplyDeleteProf Nkem I am guessing u are like 89 Gosh I can't bliv old people are now invading our blogs like facebook. If u don't Know blog terms by now pls go back to knitting and stop embarassing urself.
ReplyDeleteLove love the weave, way to go girl. she needs to keep dis hair stylist for real.Beautifully done, on point.
ReplyDelete51 comments.....Genny has still got it. The 'BIG' grand finale for this babe na to just marry one 'correct' bobo.
ReplyDeleteFlower dey fade. Time is flying fast. The entertainment industry sabi pour out the bath water with the baby when the baby don 'long' pass the basin. Its even in Hollywood. The Older ones get the 'Mum' and Grandmum roles. Desperate Housewives was a saviour for these women, but even among them the youngest (Gabriella) was shining the most in terms of endorsement deals et all.
She had been knocked off Lux already, and a younger Munachi took over....
Oya babe, do some 'proper' networking and hook yourself up. If na fasting do, old things shall pass away etc.
Marriage fast fast......na Naija babe you be. Looking good though, but gats to watch it.
The lines under the eyes, the soft wrinkles, the forced smiles, etc will soon wear out.
I know I am being harsh girls, but I 'm a very beautiful woman who has very caring sisters and aunties who missed out on opportunities in the name of careers and ended up with had me down guys as second wives. If not be for them, I for end up chasing the wind cos I had a handful of correct guys and it was getting in my head until one of them gave me the talking of my life after I don insult them for being too 'old' to understand my need to have fun.
Now I have them to thank for my two lovely boys and a fab hubby.
So ladies, some has to say it.
Let's support our own to find a bobo. Even our own Linda sef.
Wow feels like I'm starting a movement to get the singles married....wow, ministry dion start be that!!
:)
...seriously though...
Fiona
@Fiona...wot a lecture!hmmm...so u have to b married to b fulfilled?summary of it all is...getting married is d defining point of a woman rite?whose nose are u rubbing in now..Genny or Linda?a fab hubby and two kids,ok..u done well for u but pls and pls don't ever use it as a point of reference in measuring other ppls life...2bad sum ppl still can't see beyond der nose...wake up ma'am and smell d coffee!...d end achievement of d likes of genny and Linda is not marriage!...lines here and d wrinkels der indeed!God deliver single girls from women like u!!!!!
ReplyDelete@ Alicia,The problem with the "loves it" shit is that this is the world wide web any if you visit this blog and are not Nigerian you wouldnt get it! Took me a while to as I dont live in Nigeria and so the joke was lost on me! Does'nt even sound nice even as a joke so....and, Genny's hair is.......
ReplyDeleteAnon 7:05 "Loves it" didn't start in Nigeria o! First time I saw it was on Twitter, Paris Hilton was always using it like 2 years ago so the fact that u don't live in Nigeria is not an excuse o. Like how can u even think its an error, do u think Linda is one lost Mgbeke who accidentally created a blog this big. SMH* I am with Freesia on this one carry ur knitting pins abi na stick sef. Lol
ReplyDeleteGene? Not feeling her weave or no weave. It's all much ado about nothing really but each to his/her own.
ReplyDelete@ Anonymous June 24, 11.34pm - Linda's an English major? Really? Anyhooo, "Loves it" didn't start in Nigeria. It's an American colloquialism. Don't ascribe to Linda what is not hers! Agree though that Linda didn't use the term correctly the way the sentence was structured. Perhaps it's a little poetic license.
@Nkiru - It's "mixed race" in the UK and "Bi-racial" in the States.
@galore- that was a back-handed compliment if I ever heard one! Looking like Vivica Fox is not a good thing. Have you seen her lately? Too much plastic surgery!
@Anonymous 25 June 8.12am. Yep, glad she corrected her English...lol.
Ok thasall!
@anon 4:42am I really did hit a nerve there..woooo..well an opinion at least. coool
ReplyDeleteLet me tell you what marriage is about - well what it's 'supposed' to be (not that you don't know, or maybe you don't or you do...whatever - I shall proceed anyway.)
(1) Love
(2) Companionship
(3) Procreation
(4) Partnership
(5) Umbrella/covering (Naija style, you get a 'look' and some restrictions from being a life long spinster - talk thru and stop westernising the woman too much - the West have a lot to learn from us fa)
I was pretty much same before i got hitched. I didnt hold my breath or anything like that when I was walking down the aisle or feel I was entering into a wonderland. Matter of fact, I went in with lots of questions, pretty much like opening a pandora's box, but reassured at least I was marrying my friend who's got me back)
Trust me, this is not me being judgemental or prescriptive....not at all.
More like a 'giving back' for those who think that's not what they looking for...so you dont wake up one day and realise all the female empowerment thingy has caught up with you, or realise the waistline is refusing to behave, or the smiles are creating wrinkles instead of making you glow - so that at least when you get there, you are somewhere you and your environment finds acceptable - and you are at peace, otherwise you become unknowingly bitter towards the younger babes or life itself.... Just a 'bear in mind' message.
Genny and Linda are both Ibo gals and trust me, none of them has ever declared 'marriage' is of no interest to them at all. ( Or have they) If they have tell me o, let me apologise for giving advice..
I love Linda and Genny loads regardless, Not a jab at anyone pls, just a reminder, encouragement etc, this is a forum and anyone can read this and networking begins. A word to the wise..:)
So much for free advice, but hey, there will always be opinions right? Just make sure you are shining your eyes girls, no pressure. ( If you are agitated by this my 'lecture' then you are under some 'pressure' of some sort and you need to 'sort' it out - I am not the enemy..) Just shine your eyes....and like every other decison one has to make, do so wisely.
Yes Lecture by Fiona. Proudly so!
The Truth hurts...
Aging is a bitch...
Loosing your mojo is a death
sentence...
No hard feelings though..
Fiona
Two things:
ReplyDelete1) This blog is a name above it...@Linda Ikeji' if u dont like her love for Genny get a move on....I mean I rily cannot b bothered if Genny exists, but blogs r for opinions and gist na gist...finish!
2) All these jobless people arguing about the origin of 'Loves it'...plenty shame...instead of being busy arguing bout or looking for the next invention dat'll change ur life or even ur nation, na 'loves it' una see....come make i give una work abeg! SMH.....
Linda, I like how you take criticism on the chin. You're a good sport. That's a measure of someone who is comfortable in her own skin and confident in her abilities. Some bloggers get all bent out of shape and attack their "followers". Not you though. That's class.
ReplyDeleteThis message comes from someone who has criticised you a few times - see above (all done with love oh). Keep on doing you.
xo
Ah ah, Alicia but it is a 'WEAVE'. If you just did your hair, someone could even ask 'Who fixed your hair, they did it nicely' Most black women arent known to carry their natural hair so what's the point of pretending.
ReplyDeleteBesides, the hair doesnt even look natural....duhhh.
Linda i love that u havent responded to a single comment here.Resist the urge no matter how many people tempt u too
@Ada u are also jobless u just commented on a gossip blog, worst part the post is about a weave, and u also joined the "loves it" arguement which means u read all the 60 comments, talk about jobless. Make we hear word Jarey.
ReplyDeleteLinda i dey hail o.
Ndidi, thank you oh! Some people just have to comment as they seek to be noticed.
ReplyDeleteGo Genny. Continue to divide opinion. (CHICA) LOVES IT!!!!!!
linda dont mind any of that i love Genny too! i am so her fan she a diva shes looks great like always!!
ReplyDeleteif oprah can say she's divalicious what more. Fabulocity
any way they say famzing is the way now so legoooo!!!!!!!
All u Jenny haters should go gug a transformer in the freeking rain and thunderstorm.....smh......I'm so loving her dress and d hair is on point so ur negative opinion doesnt count.... rock on Jenny....
ReplyDelete@ anonymous 4.41am - I think you might have misunderstood Fiona. I don't get that she thinks that Genevieve or Linda (whom she didn't mention but you brought into the conversation) should marry to attain fulfillment. This is what I understand her to be saying, marriage would be the cherry on top of all of Genny accomplishments, the last thing on the list of accomplishments which add to her joy. It is not a bad thing to offer someone advice, and a good one at that; they don't have to take it. I didn't get that she was being judgemental, she even shared her own experiences. That's just me o. You have every right to read something negative into her statement if you so wish.
ReplyDelete@ B4nko, thanks for appreciating my perspective and for 'repping' those who actually 'get' it.
ReplyDeleteOne Love..
Fiona.
