  4. I love Beyonce but this a 'long awaited bullshit'. Thought she said Fela inspired her? I didn't see any Fela inspired moves. The only African thing was the South African dance moves with those two guys. Beyonce should reduce her gra-gra, biko.

What's happening to Beyonce? She seems to be getting more trashy and less classy. Real bad song with a repulsive video.

  12. After watching the video, it is evident that Beyonce is an entertainer and not an artist. Yes she can sing but this song is rubbish so the next best thing is to make a sex driven video hoping it would sell the recor. Absolute rubbish.

  13. @Katherine The kwaito dance is not nothing. stop complaining fela did not inspire her for this song or the Video so waht. she said afrobeat inspired her for this album. Beyonce has always been inpired with african music and dance moves. we should celebrate the fact that she introduced kwaito to the world with these tofo tofo dancers from mozambique.

  15. (ROLLING MY EYEBALLS!!!) Not another beyounce video or song empowering (deceiving) women again? girls runs the world yet how many be president or governors or leaders? Not like there arent women who really run things legit but cmon abeg in comparison to the men who do, the ratio is like 25super successful men to 1 super successful woman....check forbes list, check political list, check business list, check military list, check sports list, check music list, check even chef list.

Oh then she opens her smelling mouth to say "all the single ladies, put ya hands up" and she de wear ring o. meanwhile some (i said some o) single ladies de follow her fool d]themselves while she goes home n makes some kitchen n bedoir chow for mr carter. i mean who does that abeg? She too like to decieve girls na. Its too much. She should sing real songs abeg. Im sure from her 72 tracks she just sent to her record label, 68 are "girl power" songs. Today where spice girls dey? meanwhile na dem do girl power pass. I think in relation to things to sing about, beyonce is washed up. Hence i love my Alicia keys men. real woman something o.LOL.....im sure the boyonce fans have set their guns, knives, pitch forks, bows and arrows and are ready to eat me raw. LMAO. but yeah i said it and u guys should try to think about it from my point of view first.

name of songs when beyonce was single:
    1. Bills Bills Bills
    2. Independent woman
    3. etc etc etc

name of songs after beyounce meet man (jay-z)
    1. Bonnie n Clyde
    2. baby Boy
    3. crazy in love
    4. dangerously in love
    5. if i were a boy
    6. Ego (the koko)
    7. halo
    etc etc etc......

LOL. And she de come form girl power. Mschew. make she go sidon jo. Abeg beyounce fans, spare me o. Cos i know yal will have a filled day ripping me apart (ducking and taking cover shap shap)

  21. It aint so bad but they shaved her eyebrows too much. The makeup aint hiding it and she aint looking fine. Beyonce too early to lose your beauty oh.

  22. Some of the custom and make up is TOTALLY Gaga inspired but then again even Gaga herself took from other artists like Madonna as Madonna did from Marilyn Monroe and the list goes on and on.

The video is probably her most expensive and elaborate to date and I just need to watch it a few more times before I decide if I really like it or just like it ;-)

Who run this muthaf**ka! lol. It's kinda nice that she ain't playing the sweet I don't curse/swear girl ;-)

  23. I'm not tryna be a stan, but you mutherf's hating this accomplished black woman are obviously jealous and depressed. She is successful with everything, man, career, marriage, class everything, yet no scandal so yes y'all should be mad & feel like some hypocrite critics. I didn't like the song but with this video, damn its freaking banging in my car this summer, y'all can play Fela's old records for more inspiration
No one needs your 3c approval... mscheww

  30. Where is the Fela inspiration? In the Koso dance? Anyway all I see is a combo of Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Ciara and Keri Hilson.

Lyrics is still Beyonce Alright. That small gir Willow Smith has done something similar in her new video 21st century girl.

Beyonce ma love, go get your girls Michelle and Kelly and do something original.

Otherwise, time to ass to the baby boo or look for a new hubby. acting dey, or you even come naija make we teach you proper african dance , ehen tehn wwe can enjoy th video.

My Bet is promotion for this video will push it to the top until another artist comes up with something more interesting just in time for the grammys....

Meanwhile note to my fellow soldiers: Youth Corpers stay away from the North...no waste all those midnight candles and by force handouts in one day of foolishness. them post you no go. Go and appeal for you life!!!

  31. This is why I love Africans. They stay true to themselves. I'm American, and everybody is so in love with the song. I'm so relieved, to see I'm not the only one not feeling it.

I recently got introduced to some African artists, 2face, P square, Nice, and some songs from congo and I will say I love, love the originality. Please, do not change. Africans are so talented, to think about it, that's where it all came from. One love.
