"I got a husband along with beauty crown" - Anita Uwagbale Iseghohi

"My crown brought me a lot of good things. It taught me a lot. You basically grow up in that one year because you mix with people older than you. And if you are someone that learns, you would learn from them. But the best gift my crown brought to me was my husband. I met him in the course of the reign"- ex-MBGN, Anita Uwagbale Iseghohi to a Sun reporter on the benefits of winning a beauty pageant.

  1. You met him in the course of your reign and he got busy stealing TRANSCORP's billions to make you happy. Ole people! I have always known that all these so called beauty pageants and stuff are just racketeering avaenues to re-package spoilt and wayward young girls.

  9. What is so special about your husband other than the fact that he is a smooth CRIMINAL or do you think we dont have his record. If it were in China your husband would have been thrown into a crocodile pit. dont remind us what we have forgotten . He looted billions not even millions

  10. well, never heard of this man despite people on this blog saying he is a thief. as for anita herself, julia morley (Miss World organizer) was surprised to see her in the top 15 finalists in 2004- apparently there were far pretty girls than anita that year and they were overlooked. still, the votes for her had to count!

  12. At anon 2:44...did u say "repackage spoilt and wayward young girls"? Just because one or two of the sort make i through to the crown does not mean all of them are of the same feather. Get your facts together. If you don't like the type of girls who are confident enough to take advantage of the opportunity, then buy a form for and make a recommendation for the type of girl you want to be an ambassador of Nigeria. The fact is when you do get that kind of girl...the Gloria Chukus, The Matilda Kerrys etc...you folks can't handle it and cry boring. So you get what you ask for... And as for the comments about Anita's marriage...if you say she married her for his money, I say he married her for her beauty...FAIR TRADE OFF. She is happy, he is happy so GO HUG A TRANSFORMER abeg!!
