This kind of behaviour shouldn't be condoned at all...not cool!
They have no right to do such, its just disgraceful and humiliating. He is still the president of Nigeria until voted out. Nigeria need to change her attitude if we must continue to compete on world platforms.
I'm not surprised. Northerners are still upset by the fact that Yaradua died and their chance of holding power at the highest level for 8 straight years died with him. They blame Johnathan for not stepping aside to allow a Northerner to ascend to power. Too bad for them. They should have thought of the possibility that Yardua might die before it was agreed that a Southerner would be vice president. After all it was common knowledge that Yaradua was sickly. Well, the Constitution is clear as to whom assumes power when the president deceases. Case closed.
@Anon 1:02,I see sectionalism all over ur comment. This kind of behaviour isn't peculiar to northerners, are u aware that Buhari was stoned in Bayelsa? U if want to critic an act,do so and stop going around in circles
Please who is the person talking about world platforms? Abegi, in America, aren't their statesmen almost always shot point blank fcrom before Abraham Lincoln to the congresswoman shot in her own house. Why must it all be about sectionalism? Most of these people in Nasarawa are illiterates and they react based on what they are feeling without thinking about how "cool" or "uncool" it is. Because they want Buhari doesn't mean it's because he is Hausa. Despite your education you still think like them. Almost every statesman no matter how well like would go to certain place where he is diliked. What is the point of a bloody guard then. He should have people protecting him and that is all. Please this isn't news.

ReplyDeleteIsnt that the picture of the ambulance that brought Yaradua from the airport?
ReplyDeletePray tell, what has a picture of the ambulance/convoy that took Yar'Adua's corpse to Aso Rock got to do with GEJ being stoned in Nasarrawa?
