na waa oooh so so oyibo girls for all na video sha because na them dey buy una songs - pls be a little more appreciative of the african woman's form - we come in different shapes sizes and colours! let your videos "relay" this message...crap song tho...lol
this guy is trying way too hard! is it by force? I don't understand. the song is like "WTF?" and the video is even worse.
many black american musicians use the excuse that they live in a diverse society, and thats their reason for choosing video girls from many different backgrounds. (bullshit, because if that were the case, plenty of white artists would be doing that as well, just as much as the black artists do, which is not the case) but Nigerians, what is their excuse for it? it doesn't make sense to me. probably more than 99% of their album sales come from Nigerians/Africans. so who exactly are the white women for and who are they marketing them to? so who exactly are they marketing it to? call me crazy, but i suggest a boycott. because its just utterly annoying. naija artists and their copy-copy syndrome.
whats so great about this video? this could have been done in Nigeria...
I'm sure they hop on all these planes all in the name of using oyibos in their videos. because i don't see why anyone would go all the way to europe to do a crappy video.
faze faze faze what's going on. the first album (faze alone) was the best...what's this? he's talented (good voice/lyrics) but he's now gotten worse. trying to do useless songs 'relate' yes we know what u r talking about. i actually feel sorry for the dude..he always looks stressed and emaciated...and it's worse cuz he's such a nice guy..i just hope he gets to that level in his career.i guess he shot all his videos when he went on vacation to Europe...hence the white girls.
i don't know what on earth you will do to make naija people happy ok what is wrong with this video or becous he use white girls if it that it is not a new thing people it before and we appreciate to me i love this vdeo is my best video in 2011 haters shot your mouth...
@mike faze must be paying you for your comment. how can anyone say those videos are the best of anything? READ what i said.... I'm not just disgusted on why he used white women, im disgusted on who he thinks he is selling those white women to. do white people even buy his music? NO. i suggest a boycott, then we will see who really BUYS his music. hisssssss
FYI: just because its not a new thing does not mean we should start getting comfortable any time soon...
as Nigerian artists selling their music in NIGERIA/AFRICA (BLACK african nations), the white/non-black girls don't make sense to me.
Faze, i prayed for you today. That God will deliver you from this destructive path. Whoever is responsible for the demise of such awesome talent, e no go beta for am.
se kosi, faze? na wa o. it will be well with you.Oh and i'm boycotting naija artistes suffering from colonial mentality.period! let the white people u feautre in ur videos buy your darn albums, pay to attend your concerts and play your music at their weddings and parties.nonsense!! Sassycassie
I totally agree with Mike, it seems nigerians in the diaspora appreciate our artists more. For all u haters, please go to Youtube and watch/listen to 'Am Blessed' by my man FAZE, and see what we who TRULY love him are talking about. Linda, I'm suprised that u didn't link the 'Am Blessed' video along with 'Relate'. It's almost like ur being selective...or maybe u just haven't seen it yet?
lol.. no African girl will want to be in this rubbish video... its wack!! so what did faze do? hire cheap white girls who wanna be on a music video.... Rubbish!!! absolutely Garbage !! like they are the ones that will buy his dead cd!! ridiculous!! all i hear is relate o, relate o.....
wot abt d white guys dat use black girls in their videos....well i see so many negativity here evry time.i hope d haters are d best at wot dey do (occupation)....this video/song is alrite..not the best but way better dan "put am 4 gear one" song...
the guy is blessed already, no matter what haters talk them will carry their problem among them selve, haters close your mouth and let who God has blessed to move forward
I don't even care about what type of girls he used, the song itself is utter crap. If the song was nice and catchy, I'm sure people won't even notice that he used white or black girls. The song no try at all.
@dee there is a difference. I'm sure IF (and thats a big IF) these white artists (which are probably very few) use black girls in their videos, they are most likely living in a diverse society and probably have a big black fan base. and thats "IF..."
but with these naija artists...WHAT IS THEIR EXCUSE? who buys their music? who understands the pigin in which most of them sing/rap in? who goes to their concerts? 99% of those people are Nigerians/Africans/Blacks. SO WHO ARE THE WHITE WOMEN FOR? WHICH WHITE MARKET? you people should stop making excuses, wake up, and smell the damn coffee. these people are just suffering from colonial mentality/inferiority complex. they think using white women will give them a boost or add a touch of "class" to their already dead and gone videos. its such a shame really...
I loved Faze on his Kolomental CD (even though i bit my tongue on the fact that all his videos were filmed in Europe) but now...this guy don fall my hand, BIG TIME.
BTW: who the hell would be hating on this? seriously? get real...
No, my bro, i felt unhappy seeing you do this. I've always loved you and i urge you to please retrace your footsteps. The beats were good and could've been used better and i only speak out of love.
am liking the video, but nigerian artist should be more african in there choice of models, pls faze am aware that there is something called writers block but is there something called artist block, cos am sure u have reached that point
faze is the best, always the best, Jesus was not appreciated in is land he went else where, what do u expect of faze, mingle with those that appreciate him... i am ashamed of Nigeria that of Nigerians that are trying to frustrate is effort . i dont know what there problem is, if u know u can sing sing and leave him alone, empty barrels make the loudest noise, anonymous go and sing and see if it is not only ur family that will bye it
