  1. yoruba men..sharp sharp! no wasting time. his wife is pretty but she's quite a downgrade from monalisa..so i guess no room for reconciliation...poohoo

  2. There is nothing fast about his re-marrying. Afterall the first wife did not die. But the only thing is that the new wife has been a 'spare tyre' all along. Now that the 'main tyre' has become deflated the 'spare tyre' has to be used.

Congrats to them sha. And wishing Monalisa a quick change of her 'deflated tyre'.

  3. to Nigerian Film and TV Addict- what do you mean by 'she is quite a downgrade from monalisa'? this is an offensive remark to make about anyone- how would you feel if someone wrote the same remarks about you? marriage is not about looks but about personal qualities that attract people to one another; it is about mutual respect, understanding and caring for the other person; looks change but not personal qualities and I think this is something that you need to learn. as for monalisa's ex, good luck to you and your new wife- lady you are beautiful in every way.

  4. are u sure that is Dejo Richards?he doesnt look a bit like him

  5. The guy dint waste anytime at all. Men sha. After all his tales of heartbreak and how much he loves monalisa. Wishing them all the best. Guess he & Monalisa just weren't meant to be.
Linda, could you please put up this post on your blog

  6. good for monalisa..see how she lost a marrital home for a carefreee lifestyle.i guess she was so desired to party and rock and she left her husband now see how she destroy her daughter by not allowing her full parental upbring too bad..guess she is now regreting

  7. Anonymous at 8.25pm why are you getting worked up?

I agree with film addict... outward it is definitely a downgrade from Monalisa... Now for a mariage to happen this quick, this lady must have been around for a while loke someone said!
So Divorce may have not been a bad decision for the actress after all!

  8. i hope this woman read up on all of mona lisa's complaints about this guy, the verbal/mental/emotional abuse that she suffered from him etc. we don't know the entire truth because in every story there is his side, her side and the truth but they do say there is no smoke without fire so a word is enough for the wise. good luck!

  9. Hmmm! I see he has found another rich, girl to demonstrate his mugu-maga moves on! She is the fourth wife in ten years! Ask him! I hope this one knows karate o, because she will need it to fend herself from his wife-beating ways! I wish her the best sha.

  14. Once an ABUSER always an ABUSER. She thinking that he's some pet project she's about to embark is only going to end up leaving her exhausted and disappointed with zero self-esteem. I really do feel sorry for her because to be honest no matter how husband scarce reach men like him do not deserve the love of a woman

  15. 4th wife in 10 years!!! DAMN
that is a HUGE RED FLAG!!!

    ReplyDelete
  16. @anony 8:25pm. She has the so called inner beauty and she married a man who beat up the last wife. Abeg let me hear, inner beauty ko. 4th wife in Ten years. The man needs a qualified therapist not a wife. She doesnt have inner beauty at all. Obviously she has been the mans plan D.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Most people who shout inner beauty are very ugly inside. Thats a cover up. Was she so desperate or she feels that she is the INNER BEAUTY WOMAN that will stop the man from kicking ass. Abeg let me hear word.

  19. @ Nigeria Film And TV Addict. how do u mean youruba men sharp sharp hennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! u are so full of yourself and very very tribalistic. if u don't know what to write pls do not comment. i shall not gree i must be famous by force lol!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Monalisa has passed her old toy (dejo) to a less priviledge lady....please clap for her philanstropic gesture

    ReplyDelete
  21. I have an uncle who was very abusive to women. I mean beating them for no reason whatsoever. Funny enough, until last year, he has married up to 7 women. What baffled me is, why are women always attracted to bad men? Do they think such men will repent and treat them differently? If what Monalisa said about him is true, this new wife should watch out!

    ReplyDelete
  22. good luck to the couple, hope he doesnt beat and manipulate this one

    ReplyDelete
  23. i dont know them personally neither do i really understand the dynamics of monalisa's marriage to the man so i'll refrain from commenting on that...
that been said, calling someone a downgrade is downright immature..apart from seeing her in movies, do you know monalisa personally?
do u know the new wife personally?
what makes her a downgrade? is it because she is not an actress?
if she becomes an actress or popular musician tomorrow, does that make her an upgrade?.
    smh!

    ReplyDelete
  24. yoruba men are only good as boyfriends not husbands..hence 'sharp sharp' monalisa is not the first..wat about steph nora okere/falana.and i'm not trying to be famous.i'm just a blogger who says my mind.

    ReplyDelete
  25. @Nigeria Film and Tv addict; no problem, stick with ur tribe. Nobody dey force person to marry from tribe. If you feel that Yoruba guys are not good for you or anybody that you know, the stay off them. Continue dating your folks be it Ibo or otherwise. If dem ask u out, no gree. Leave them for people that knows their worth!!! case closed.

  26. @NFATA... Please don't start another WORD WAR here with this your over generalisation about yoruba men.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Very interesting comments. But what I am disgusted by is the term, "downgrade". are you crazy people serious??? downgrade??. Who the heck is Monalisa. Is she like a brain surgeon or an aeronautics engineer that married an ordinary man? is it not that bucktooth, big lipped light skinded nollywood actress? wonders will never cease. To me she is nothing to write home about. The yankee girl is even a step ahead of her. That aside, women, women, women! we are in the times of INVESTIGATIONS!!! biko investigate before you marry. A wife beater? several failed marriages in 10 years?,he uses rich girls to better himself? that is horrible news for any parent to hear about who their daughter brought home. I really wish this new wife luck. The guy sure likes his women thick and light skineded sha o

  28. This blogger called Nigerian Film and TV addict is a low-down dirty b..ch! How dare you abuse Yoruba Men? We all know who you are and all your sexcapades in Lagos, especially on the Island. Not to talk of some of your filthy history in London. You, with a sordid half-caste or fake white-skinned parental background, dare castigate a whole tribe? The gloves are off now! In the next few days, you will get your due desserts. Sebi you hate Yoruba men? Some of our 'Area Men' will visit you in your house soon to tell us why we should continue to allow you stay around us when you should go to your hometown. You shall see!

  29. @terror rambo..me? who am i? OMG dude i'm in London for my master's degree and the last time i was in lagos was in september.i dunno who u think i am but i'm certainly not who u make me out to be. I dunno who u know but it ain't me.i don't hate yoruba men, i'm just talking based on experience and stereotypes.

  30. Nigerian Film and TV Addict - i hear ALL ibo men use their wives for money ritual.
u are half ibo right? is it true, you should know.

  31. Everyone should keep quiet ok. Firstly i concur with NFATA. Most youruba men are faithfull NOT. At anony, just stop threatening her. She just said her opinion. Its the truth and its bitter, swallow it. And pls monalisa has big lips and stil she is beautiful. @Anony, even with your small lips, you look AWFUL.

  33. is she his fourth wife in ten years? i didn't know that o but anyhow, good luck to the lovebirds- who knows, this one could be the right one for him- they say nigerian-american women are no nonsense women- if he tries anything funny in america, he could end up in jail

    ReplyDelete
  34. Whats new? Apart from yoruba pastors and omo sexy's husband, its no news that there are no responsible yoruba men anywhere. And pls AREA BOYS AND WOMEN, dont even bother threatening me like you did to NFATA. I just said my piece.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I don't blame the guy,....I think the bigger problem is the fact that despite his reputation, women Are still giving him a chance, hoping for a different result. Once a wife beater, always a wife beAter. our culture so much sucks that nits imposed ridiculous pressure to marry no matter what. I'm sure this chichn has heard it all about this dude yet,....got to get married o

  36. Igbo men don't beat their wives. They kill them with machete. Pls this is a fact. Google is ur friend. All the igbo men in Houston and 'aryl and don use cutlAss kill their wives finish.

    ReplyDelete
  37. @anon 10:52, who tell u say Omo Sexy's husband na Yoruba? Go do your research well.Still, your babes dey run marry Yoruba guys front and back, left and right! Abeg, make una leave them o marry ur Ibo guys so that dem go fit reach us! Even for YAnkee, Ibo guys dey treat thier wives bad.Go do your research, it's very easy to verify.Beibg generous doen't stop a guy from beating ladies. That said, Monalisa wey una dey fight on no fine. Being light skinned doen't make one beautiful. The skin colour is wasted on her.She doesn't have good bonny structure. She is not beautiful; just flashy. How can u call the new bride a downgrade from Monalisa? @NFATA what has degrees got to do with this conversation? Do you where others are typing from or thier qualifications?

    SERIOUSLY! IS NFTVA EVEN IGBO?
i want to know if she is Igbo before people start warranting unnecessary attacks on Igbo people.
AFTER someone dissed Igbo men, they had the nerve to ask "you're igbo, right?"
SO YOU'RE NOT EVEN SURE OF HER ETHNICITY, YET YOU CAME OUT TO ATTACK IGBO MEN?
GOD PUNISH YOU, AND ALL OF YOU LOUSY B*TCHES HERE!
i don't see why Nigeria films and tv addicts opinion or stereotype then brings in all of Igbos? WTF?
can this girl even confirm her ethnicity before hand?

how the F*CK can someone attack Igbo men and then AFTER THE FACT as if she is Igbo?
such stupidity, some people on this blog make me sick!

  39. hmmm I don't see myself marrying a man whose first wife ran out of their home with the clothes on her back due to his documented battering... but maybe that's just me

  40. @ Alicia, sorry dear.I'm so sorry for all I wrote.. as in deeply sorry. But the truth is it's mostlty Ibos that like castigating people or other naija tribes at slightest opportunities. I know this and it's true. And I'm sure if you sit down and think about it or you do a reaserach or a kind of sampling, you will find out thta it is the truth. Sorry all the same. Alicia, ma binu. Remember say na person yam dey make em hand deep inside palm oil. One naija for life. We are all one... HAusa,Yoruba, Ibo, Kanuri, Ijaw, TIV etc... but some things that we say or write sha. House help me beg Alicia, make e n o vex oooo.

  41. Can we get back to the couple? We have now segued into tribal issues, every tribe has it's bad apple abeg so let's stop! The worst person I dated in my life happens to be a Yoruba guy but that doesn't mean I think ALL Yoruba men are man's boys, dirty, cheating, ingrates and cheap misers! Leave tribal politics out of this and let's go back to wishing them luck. Na she marry am, na she go deal wit the yawa wey go bust if any! Both parties have moved on with their lives.

  42. Just saw the couples pictures on facebook and she is gorgeous. He looks very decent too. Even though this man is a public figure, I really think we need to respect them as human beings and a newly wedded couple. Please stop destroying their marriage with what you all thinkk you know. There are always two sides...anyways may God bless them their marriage and teach them what unconditional love is.

  43. Alicia says...

    @anonymous 4:16 pm
and please learn to have some respect, its Igbo, not Ibo!
no need to apologize, what was said has been said.
i don't see why every time someone disses a Yoruba person, they diss Igbos in return, WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING THE PERSON'S ETHNICITY!
    its pure STUPIDITY.
Igbos are not the only people that have something to say about tribes (THEY ALL DO IT!), because if that were the case, the Yorubas wouldn't jump in defense to start attacking Igbos, am i right?
this is all just foolish and annoying.
when someone disses your people, you DISS THAT PERSON BACK. leave other innocent tribes out of it.
the opposite of Yoruba IS NOT Igbo, so leave us the f*ck alone!
    got it?

  44. @ANONY 1138am:What is gorgeous about the new wife? Does she have good boney structure,i guess not. So what is your point. The wife is probably fatter than monalisa and i can smell envy in you. You think you can bash every light skinned woman, go and get busy with your life.

In any case, what's the big deal? Except if he's killing them b4 moving on, no biggie...

  49. It obvious that most of the people who drop comments on this blog are jobless and heartless. How else can u describe spreading negativity about a new marriage and a whole tribe. Only sick minds create things like 4 wifes in 10 years. What are your facts apart from this new wife and Monalisa, can you mention the names and verifiable locations of the other 2. Even our Nigerian press have been condemned so many times for lack of investigative journalism. How would u guys feel when someone blogs u as ritualised or terrorist. Please guys cleanse your sick minds. @ Dejo-
Richards, Congrats may u have a good marital bliss

if you wanna say something, SAY IT! stop using the Yoruba language to pass snide remarks. if your comment is directed at me, say it to my understanding.
i get so sick of ignorant folks. i read these comments ALL THE TIME and bite my tongue, but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
stop dissing Igbo people just because someone YOU THINK is Igbo, dissed Yorubas.
    its disgusting.

    i've said my piece.
