Funke Akindele’s Omo Ghetto. Is it a good movie?

The movie was produced by Funke Akindele and was released in Oct 2010. Since its release, the movie has been getting mixed reviews. Some people think it’s the best movie since Jenifa...many others don't like it.
Have you seen the movie? What would you rate it?

  4. Started off well, had a great premise, but somewhere around the middle when it was revealed that

*spoiler alert don't read past here if u don't want to know parts of the plot*

that the girls were twins who were seperated @ birth, when one was sold and the other was kept, the movie went from fun and entertaining to a drag/chore.

Oga Bello played his role perfectly, so did Funke Akindele when she was playing the part of the ghetto twin. Beyond that, two thumbs down...

  16. I have watched it thrice. I plan to watch it again. It was an awesome movie and Funke Akindele and all the girls did a SOLID job.

For those who think its unrealistic, if you ever to go Costain bustop, check underneath the bridge and tell me if you still think its unrealistic.

  17. A nice movie, the cast and the acting was good, the only problem I had with the story line is that of the twins twist. We've seen enuf of stories round the issue of twins, but the concept was nice-living in the ghetto does not mean being irresponsible, I think if the part 2 is well crafted, it could still be a fantastic one like Jenifa, Aminwo is another fantastic film by Funke Akindele (she no pay me for publicity o)
