The Nominations for 83rd Academy awards was announced this morning. The event will be hosted by James Franco and Anne Hathaway on 27th February at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

  3. winning one of these doesn't really mean you are a great actor. its just some stupid trophy created for the glorification of that inner narcissistic demon inside them. there are so many great actors that have not received one of these and you get people as whack as nicole kidman winning and getting nominated every second.

    rubbish. if they want to be fair they should leave the voting for the public but then again it would only make them seem ordinary and that my friend they are so scared of. their days are numbered because I've noticed these days that most actors don't really care as much as before of these awards and that's becauuse they are starting to see that they are just metals to beautify your house and nothing more. "your history is what you make of it not what somebody says it is."
