I'm not too excited about this...I have a BAD feeling about this.
why does Hollyood always try to cash in on everything?
i bet you the Nigerians will be playing the role of the thugs or the small characters.
and you know how Hollywood/Americans have to try to over stereotype or exaggerate.
not looking forward to it at all, im ready for the baloney that will be in stores for ALL to see.

  3. I dont know..My question is how big a role are Nigerians playing in this?
I hope they dont let the Hollywood industry take over the production though..And since we're at it, maybe some other good aspects of Nigeria should be shown...Not only the Niger/Delta ish because that's what the foreigners and people on the other side will see...Well I guess that's the point of the movie so whatves..We're getting there anyways. Its ok.

  4. call me crazy..but i still prefer the movies with our local heroes, and village scenes...i didnt like bursting out..it was way too contrived for me...i understand the producers are trying to improve their production and filming, but i still like the locally made movies...to me they are truly original..i have had enough of hollywood cookie cutter movies...i am totally over them...pls give us home grown movies..and dont let hollywood usurp our culture...i have been in America long enough....to understand that our culture is richer..we need to appreciate it.

  6. I do think that making international movies and telling stories about the 3rd world is good. The world is diversifying and we should grow with the world. Its a good opportunity for Nigerians to have their stroy told to the entire world; however, I do agree that some Nigerian stars should mix with the Hollywood stars. Enough of that home video gibberish. Its a complete joke. We should move on and maybe this will help corruption if the story is heard by people. Eg: Hotel Rwanda.
