Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon (Big grammar Parliamentarian) Speaks with Sahara Reporters (video)

...be obscurantive or to be gymnosophist in my communication.
There has been no deliberate attempt at all to obfuscate or envelope my audience in a state of orgamoga ...etc..lol

  1. Oh well!
I must say that I admire his love for grammar and reading.
However, I do believe that a SKILLED ORATOR SHOULD BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH HIS AUDIENCE IN A LANGUAGE THEY CAN UNDERSTAND!
What is the use of using language that your audience finds difficult to comprehend.
Intelligent speakers know how to tailor their language to suit the audience.
Powerful orators who have the gift of the rhetoric i.e. OBAMA, MARTIN LUTHER KING, MARGARET TATCHER, BLAIR, MANDELA, AWO all had this gift.
    Unfortunately, this honourable doesnt.

  2. Patrick Obahiagbon is the product of a half-baked education and is a disgrace and an embarassment to Nigeria, and to the Rosicrucian Order (AMORC) which he is a member.

He is an attention seeker. It looks like his brain's been messed up by the blasphemous book he's been reading, "The Mystical Life of Jesus" by that Dr. H. Spencer Lewis, Imperator of the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC.

Obahiagbon has totally lost the plot. I was cringing with embarassment first time I came accross that silly man chatting shit on YouTube. Prior to that, I knew nothing about him, his stupid accent and fake grammar. He's the type of embarassing 9jas I run away from.

Obahiagbon, what's with the big big grammar?

In what way does his stupid grammar solve anything for the comunity he is supposed to represent?

I've heard of money miss road, but Patrick Obahiagbon is the prime example of education miss road. Whoever sent that fool to school should demand a refund.

Patrick Obahiagbon went to school, but school didn't go through him or his stupid block [BIG] head.

  7. 99% of his problems would be solved if he could take just one public speaking class...

Not 2 not 3 or 4, just one class...

I mean, seriously, rule #1 in public speaking: Keep It Simple

LOL, Your comment was humorous. His oral communication kinda makes him look foolish. How does he expect people to take him seriously when he talks like a village headmaster?

  12. Obiagbon would do well in a new class of comedy.....performance

Other than that I think he needs to have his head re-examined by a team of expert Psychiatrists and Psychologist for a disorder in his central Medula Oblongata

  17. His grammar makes me laugh and i can almost swear he has got torrents...lol

To the serious matter: you and I are too tribalistic you only need to look at nairaland and you will realise how divided we are.We need to let love rule as we only get the leaders like ourselves.
Am yoruba my beloved 8 yr old nephew is igbo and i have hausa fulani cousins. How can i not love them.

I will vote for the man again becos he speaks sense atleast and makes me laugh.

Say no to Zoning and tribalism.

  19. You guys, I really believe that Hon Patrick Obahiagbo is one of the well learned amateurish in Nigeria, his use of words can be defined as obtuse in the eyes of Wole Soyinka, even Obasonjo.

  24. although most words are correct in context, he needs to learn to communicate. he is talking about issues that needs to be addressed, but he is going about it the wrong way by using Latin and big words

  25. this is not comedy. get the real meaning to the words and then apply it to the nigerian political sysyem and just find out that he is telling the truth. About the christian book, not that bad, not many politicians do that. from some of his previous videos, it is obvious he reads the bible.
