  2. Yuck. How can they be eating the whale without knowing how long it has been dead for and the fact that it is smelling gives it away.

  4. This incidence showed we have no government. How can people eat a decaying whale? Why are the authorities not present to prevent the ignorant populace from this act of shame? It has indeed shown the backward attitude of some Nigerians - i am really ashamed that at the height of globalization people still behave barbaric like the whites always considers us to be. Where in western world could people devour a dead animal? it is unbelievable, unless the person is mentally derailed. This happens in a country that lacks good governance. The only thing the political wizards thinks about is zoning, zoning, zoning, and i wonder what is it about zoning. Zoning for national interest or regional interest? I am really disappointed in Nigeria and its leaders - it is only in country like this that one could imagine people eating a dead whale and still prays for more to come. Political dragons over to you on what you guys has turn ordinary Nigerians into.

  11. Buhahahahaha!! My mum told me about this a few days ago and i though she was exaggerating..

    Priceless:
    1) "Foreign ororo pure one no be naija ororo"
    2) "I've fried my own today it is very nice. If you taste it you would like to taste it again."
    3) "But it is smelling...What is smelling? The smell does not mean anything." *dead*
    4) "It still hurts their stomarch"
    4) The doctors reaction and explanation. Too too sad.

Moral of the story, i weep for naija. Just too sad. Our people perish for lack of understanding and exposure. I can't believe the Lagos state government is yet to respond to this. The government had better go clear away the carcass of that poor whale/fish/sign from God about the elections.

  16. why are people condemning the people? So you think it's everyone in Nigeria that can afford to go school? If Western people were hungry they too would eat the whale. Nigerians are so classist and up their own arses. The government are so unserious, they don't even bother to release a public statement to warn people or remove the whale, these people don't care at all but when it election time comes they'll be dashing bags of rice left right and centre. mschewww.

  17. I love being a Nigerian! Life gives us lemons; we make lemonades. The sea gives us a dead Whale, we make fish suya. Priceless.
P.S is that a certified Doctor? I wouldn't want to be under his care. Sounds proper dopey.

  18. There is this saying that "It is better to pray for someone who is poor than for someone who is sick"!

A sick man can get better with time, but being poor is like a disease that doesn't have any cure - Poverty is a disease!

Surely, my people are destoryed for lack of knowledge!
