Holy Malam celebrates a decade on stage

Nigeria’s leading gospel comedian and pioneer of ‘gospel comedy’, Holly Mallam is set to celebrate a decade of dishing out some of the greatest jokes Nigeria has ever heard. Holly Mallam whose real names are Ajibola Adebayo stepped on the stand-up comedy scene ten years ago and has distinguished himself from his peers by sticking to clean and decent jokes.


The event marking his 10th year anniversary is in two folds. The first event takes place at Civic Centre, Victoria Island on the 12th of November which is exclusively for clients and corporate bodies who have been supportive of Holly Mallam over the years. The second event which takes place on the 14th of November at the Lagoon Restaurant is grand performance open to the entire public.

Both event will see Holy Mallam and his colleagues deliver excellent routines from their vast repertoires. Apart from being a highly successful comedian Holy Mallam is also a very a talented singer whose album in 2005 showed how versatile he is.

He also runs a company called Holly Mallam Events which specializes in organizing and planning events, parties, weddings and corporate events.
