Kidnappers today released the 15 school children that they abducted from a bus on their way to school near in Aba.
Federal police spokesman Emmanuel Ojukwu told news men that authorities recovered the children early Friday morning, four days after gunmen seized them from a bus traveling in Nigeria's Abia state. Ojukwu said the nursery and primary school students were in good condition and soon would be reunited with their parents.
Abia state police spokesman Geoffrey Ogbonna said a joint military and police taskforce "rescued" the children and no ransom was paid, though officers made no arrests when they recovered the students.
Thank you God..It must have been very traumatising for their parents indeed. I hope this never happens again.. we need to do better.
ReplyDeleteI thank you heavenly father for your mercy & divine protection...May your wrath be upon the kidnappers who would never find peace in their life until they confess & repent. amen.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jesus!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is the only good news today. Thank God!
ReplyDeletethank you Lord.
ReplyDeletethank you Lord.
ReplyDeletePraise the Lord that sense and compassion have prevailed today.
ReplyDeleteHmmm! I may be stating the obvious but something smells extremely fishy here. They "rescued" the kids but happened not to arrest anyone. No bullets exchanged, no scuffle? These government people know exactly who is behind these kidnappings but they deliberately choose to do nothing. We are in trouble!
