TVC Newscaster, Edet Umoh, has passed on. He died some days ago after battling with an undisclosed illness that kept him bedridden for weeks. He was 37 years old.
Edet and Harriet at their April 2010 wedding.
Edet, a former staff of Channels TV was married to Harriet Agbenyi, also a broadcaster and staff of Channels TV. The two married in April this year and had been living happily together before tragedy struck days ago.
Edet was a newscaster and broadcaster who struck you as simply brilliant. I remember thinking, "This guy is really good" when I first started seeing him some years ago. It is well. May he rest in peace. My heart goes out to Harriet.
its a pity. I have followed this young man"s progress from channels to tvc. This is one of the reasons why lagos state government MUST answer these striking doctors FAST! only God knows how many people DIE daily. Bye bro, till we meet again.
So, so sad...I'm very sorry Harriet. Can vividly remember watching your marriage on TV and admiring your dance steps...The joy was palpable...Rest in Peace, Edet.
I am so sad about the death of Edet Umoh. Such a promising young man to "bow-out" in his prime is very touching. I'm deeply sad, It's like a personal loss to me. May his gentle soul rest in absolute peace. Adieux, brother.....(Ini-Ubong Udosen).
But i don't like how Nigerians never say what led to his/her death. I remember when my mom told me my paternal grandmother passed away, I felt sad but I asked several times, was she sick or what did she die of? she never said anything.
I've been to couple of funerals with my mom, and i see her crying only to find out that she has never met this person. I don't get it.
This is so sad...what happened?...
ReplyDeleteMay he rest in peace.
