Federal Government lifts ban on Super Eagles

The Federal Government of Nigeria today lifted the ban it imposed on the Super Eagles last week after Nigeria's poor outing at the 2010 World Cup.

Thank God the Federal Govt rescinded the decision, otherwise we would have been banned by FIFA, because they do not tolerate interference in the administration of football by the government of any country.

Now that we've settled that, how about we concentrate on more important issues - like the N10billion budget proposal for Nigeria @50 celebration.
Now, that's a project that needs to be banned! :-)

  1. i agree with you Linda..looking at that picture, only the guys in the front row look like athletes. as for the guys at the back, kanu looks about 50, danny shittu has a pot belly and the guy at the other end looks like a middle-aged trader. the rest pretty much look off. i hope they do a complete overhaul

  4. I believe FIFA knows little about Nigerian Footpolitics, i mean football. If not, they will have allowed Pres. Goodluck's ban to stand.
