He acted an ASS at the Nigeria Reunion Night of a 1001 laughs, concert and Nigeria Image Awards last sunday, July 4th in New York. He was NOT on the bill but JEDI asked that some of his allotted time to do his comedy be given to this him, he went up there and began using foul language in his routine with children in the audience. People were not feeling him and this idiot drop the microphone on the floor instead of gracefully apologizing and cleaning up his act. He might be one of those comedians who can't be funny without cursing like Sinbad and Bill Cosby but he didn't go far enough for us to tell if he's the Chris Rock type who though he curses always makes an intelligent, social observance that has one thinking after the show.
ReplyDeleteThis show was NOT BILLED as an FAMILY show. I personally never ever understood why parents cannot just find baby sitters for their children, this was in my opinion an ADULT show but he should have taken into consideration the fact that some people had chosen to saddle to rest of us with the presence of their little ones.
ONLY Africans do that mess of taking children to adult parties/shows and placing them in adult situations and get offended when ADULTS act like ADULTS in what is supposed to be an adult situation. Keep your freaking children at home and stop causing the rest of us who have left ours at home to feel uncomfortable when we came out to have a good time as ADULTS in an ADULT atmosphere!
I went to a Congolese party sometime back, people were arriving at 1 AM with children in tow, are you serious? Do you want to party that badly? I couldn't believe my eyes!
