My senses tell me that it is demonic! Why in the world will one be half human and half animal? Is it normal? no! edifying? no! Logical? no! she has now joined marilyn manson, lady gaga ati be be lo, as modern day lunatics being celebrated and whose image is being pushed as 'acceptable' when it is clearly not!
Analyzing this issue; there's really nothing creative about imitating the image of an ancient history deity.This image which is generally known as Sphinx; is a god to some individuals who have a belief in ancient Egyptian worship, Greek astrology and even to some in Europe who have deep rooted beliefs in Free-Masonry. Kelis is just presenting part of her belief system in Egyptian mythology. This is something she has never hidden from the public, especially when she was married. Not that hard to figure out. So honestly; being said without harshness, creativity has nothing to do with it.
she was always out there and different in style, music etc BUT this wan now is just about trying to bring the spot light back on her and her music after having not made good music in a long while as well as having her marriage fail.
Let's see if she can capture the attention of the audience with all these news acts like Lady Gaga, Ke$ha etc. She was never really a mainstream artist in the States though she has a following in Europe.
