Nigerian Squad A Disgrace — Jay-Jay Okocha

"All of us back home in Nigeria knew that this group of players would not get anywhere from the start. Their preparations were nothing to write home about while the Swede manager was brought into the fold too late. The performance of the Eagles in South Africa is disgraceful and not acceptable. I feel very sad that the majority of Nigerians are here watching the Eagles in this terrible condition,” Jay Jay Okocha

  4. Shut up! You also contributed imensely to the Downfall of Nigeria Football, you were one of the player that had prefered to choose any matches you liked to play when we were playing world cup qualifying series that led to our non-participation in Germany 2006.
Though, you were a player to reckon with during ur prime but lacks Discipline as well

  6. trust me, even since the time of the last days of Mr. "jay jay" there have been problems with the Nigerian team. he's only talking now because he is on the outside. by the way, why were we, Nigerians, expecting more when even England and France had no faith in its national team?

  7. What can we say, he is an authority in this matter- no one can prove him wrong. I think the problem is, they were not fit, need to loose weight and play with a bit more urgency....it's not over yet, the final burial comes when we take on South Korea!!! Get ready with your handkerchiefs!

  8. Until Jay Jay tells us(Nigerians) why he quit football when we need him most he should keep his thots to himself. Older players like Song and Giggs still play actively.

  9. Instead of complaining, he should find a solution and start helping them work towards winning the next world cup! a.k.a SHUT UP if you don't have a solution.
I hate complainers. Yes, they suck! We all know it Jay Jay!

  10. We miss you Jay Jay and your team of USA 94 and Atlanta 96. What is wrong with our team? The match with Greece brought tears to my eyes.
