Our acting president, Goodluck Jonathan, met with US president, Barack Obama yesterday at the Blair House, which serves as President Obama’s Guest House a few meters across from the White House. Jonathan was accompanied to the meeting by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Odein Ajumogobia, the Ambassador to the United States, Ade Adefuye, and Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Joy Ogwu.

Linda, jo kini Jonathan ba bo? I wrote this in yoruba because it conveys the impact of the question and I know you understand some yoruba :) Hopefully, this just wasn't an in-peron meeting just to show face. I want to hear that Naija is off that list or that we are getting some nods and do matter. Please tell me there's more to come on this.
ReplyDeleteI hope this is the beginning of rebuilding the image of Nigeria!!!!!
ReplyDeleteRebuilding the image of Nigeria is really up to Nigerians themselves. If Nigerians want to be taken off the list, the leaders need to stop acting like bunch of fools. Nigerians stop creating bad images or reputation, then things will change.
ReplyDeleteObama has nothing to do with it, the only thing he can do is putting some sense into Jonathan. Americans has every right to put Nigeria on the list, until Nigerians prove themselves. Good thing, Jonathan looks like he's doing something.
