  11. what a fashion mistake that nigerian women are into this days, most of the so called star dress them self up like a tramp. 1. no man can ever take you serious the way you all dress, i call them attension seekers, i do not understand the wearing of boats in nigeria, i do not say short dresses are not in fashion trend for the season, what am saying is that they should be won in a clasic form. because of this i have talking upon my self to set a fashion , hair and beauty consultant firm, no matter where you are we can advice you on what to wear from hair to toe . email us at mycahservices@yahoo.co.uk

  17. that chick in white with the blonde hair is she CRAZY? what is she now lady gaga or something?
the butt crack is serious no no. we don't want to see your butt honey. we DON'T CARE about your butt.
see-through blouse with a blue bra, blue trouser and black belt is just down right HOOD RATTY. sorry hon, that's a HIDEOUS look.
the lady with the see through bra? what in the hell was she thinking? argh!
and what's with everyones breasts popping out? was this some MAMMARY GLAND show?

  18. LOL @ Linda Ikeji doing fashion police! Of all people.

Cossy's outfit wasn't bad. atleast this is the most covered up i've seen her.

Adora Uko, such a pretty girl. I hope that wasnt naija with those boots she had on. Then again, lotsa babes were rocking even thigh high boots when i last went...guess its not a thing for 'em. Ada's outfit wasn't banging, but i don't think its fashion policeable either.

The chick with the lacy bra, the omotola and donatella versace look alikes... *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  19. Just one comment... where on earth was this?

p.s the girl in the purple dress looks like Geraldine from BBA hope I am not right

  22. This boots wearing fashion in Nigeria dey tire me oh - how one can wear boots and thights in the sweltering Nigerian heat beats me.

Cossy is probably the 8th lady's role model.

    I hiss in polish!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Na wa! Wetin be all this?
I don't even know where to start. EPIC FAIL!!!! Butt crack, breasts hanging out, lady gaga impersonation, na really wa!

    ReplyDelete
  24. gosh im shocked. it was like a bra/boobs parade.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Where are they going exactly? maybe dats the dress code, "slutty and trashy"

    ReplyDelete
  26. If there is one thing we are good at, its overdoing it. Lace wig-we have wrecked that trend. Boots-smh @ people wearing boots in more than 70 degree weather, cleavage bearing-Cossy should just stop now, she looks stupid. It is sad that we don't know how to dress. Even our movies, folks don't know how to pair the right shoes with outfits (evident in these pics). What is with the leggings (why now?).
Naija ladies, simplicity is key. Trying to wear every trend at once is TACKY.

  27. nigerians are just weird sha. they just copy whatever they see abroad no matter how inappropriate (those tights for example) and go out. most of them can't think that well and we just don't have many fashion stylists in nigeria. make una no worry. i am coming to breathe a baptism of fire into our fashion industry very soon!! shout alleluia somebody!!
let me just state here that pic 6, the chic with the purple tube and black boots is not bad, she just doesn't look very polished. as for all the other heavy busted women with their boobs popping out of their ill-fitting clothes, odikwa very somehow ooooo

    ReplyDelete
  28. number fashion rule...skinny jeans and leggings is a no no for plus size ladies....showng a bit of cleavage is not bad..but dis ladies obviously got dressed in d dark..goodluck #lightup nigeria so dat our gals see wat dey r wearng before leaving home

    ReplyDelete
  29. o gosh, *rolls eyes* nigerians are soo ignorant who told u tights are for hot countries?? boots ok but tights!! how hot is florida?? have u eva noticed most celebs wear them daily to shape thier legs?? beyonce for example?? #reason nigeria is backwards!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Blood of Jesus!!! are this really out of naija.....our own same naija?? abeg the Acting president needs to declare "STATE OF EMERGENCY"

    ReplyDelete
  31. linda ,did u see my mail or not?

    ReplyDelete
  32. LOL@Fashion police, you asked for it so here we go:

oh no she didnt category: Photo 8. She looks as if she is putting on all the latest fashion trends in one outfit. Shuo. lovely skin but looks completely out of it.

Are you outta your mind (lepa) category: photo 2and 4

Are you outta your mind (orobo) category: photo 5,9 and 10

Cossy is looking good for her image, possibly the most appropriately dressed lady there. She is trying to be like Pamela Anderson and kilonpe, Jordan right? She is on the right path

Lady 6&Lady 1 is okay. Fashion sense is relative. People were dark glasses at night, wear skimpies in the dead of winter.Heck, all lady gaga's outfits makes me feel is the antichrist or something..makes me want to dedicate my life to being a nun, yet people love her.

So to me,nothing wrong with the gal in purple wearing boots if she is confident with it. First lady is okay but looks to ordinary for the ocassion.

(Gosh am being too serious, time toinject some humour)

Photo 3 should be shot for displaying that butt crack. It is not SEXY at all . Besides butt crack with toned bum is awful, talkless of flabby, cellulite bum,na!

P.s: As a concerned Orobo, this Naija social scene worries me.You can be an orobo and still look good. No need to wear everything in fashion!

    Rock on Linda

  33. hahahaha....I would've expected more from Adaora but maybe it was her 'off day' or something. Tights & boots just don't go together in naija at all. I don't know when naija women go take the hint. Even Cossy of all people looked far more decent that all of them combined together. At least, she didn't over-expose her inflated knockers this time around.

BTW...Linda, i saw you on Soundcity at the Mr. Nigeria event on TV last week. You sounded & looked hot. ;)

  42. Nothing wrong with trying to be different but its either boobs or legs on display and not both. Also please lets not over critisize the plus sized ladies - most women from Nigeria are not naturally asize 10!

  44. CAN SOMEONE HELP US TO ANNOUNCE IT ON NIGERIA TELEVISION THAT BOOT AND TIGHTS (PANTYHOSE) ARE WORN IN EURO AND AMERICAN BECAUSE OF COLD? WHAT TYPE OF FASHION SENSE IS THAT? CAN THIS GIRLS STOP EMBARRASING NIGERIAN ABROAD?
JOKING APART, I'VE LAUGH MY HEAD OFF BY OTHER PEOPLE'S COMMENT, BUT DRESS CODE NEEDED TO BE ADDRESS IN THAT COUNRTY. THIS IS A TOTAL MADNESS.

    ReplyDelete
  45. We don't need dress code oh!! This really made my day. I had such a good chuckle. Please be kind to Nigerian women, most of us dress well. It takes a LOT to make it to the worst dressed page of any column and you know Naija girls, we are good at everything we do, even being badly dressed. They don't have second.

  46. Well i must say...Dez ladies hav put d capita 'R' in d word 'Ridiculous'. wot a mess......... Snaz.

  47. Was this some kind of freak show? If so I think that Cossy bitch won hands down......
number 2 is hilarious cos she thinks she's the sh*t...
Number 9 and 10 were kidding right?!
Number 5 look like she can't go out during the day cos she's bleached the life outta herself.....chei Linda lock them up and throw away the key! Number 6 is OK though, she just needs to be cautioned so she doesn't end up like 8,9 and 10......
