Linda @ Nike Oshinowo's Fit, Forty and Fabulous event.

I was invited to Nike Oshinowo’s Fit, Forty and Fabulous event that took place yesterday at Medici, Victoria Island, where she officially presented her Fit, Forty and Fabulous fitness DVD...which you can find in stores near you for 2grand...I think. (Hope I got the price right? Well, if it’s more than that, just tell them Linda Ikeji said it’s 2k and you are not paying more than that! It’s that simple! lol )

Anyway, there were lots of A-list celebrities at the event; Genevieve Nnaji, who by the way looked like a dream, was there :-), so was Rita Dominic, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Mo Abudu, Mrs Doyin Abiola, Funke Fowler, Elizabeth Elohor and plenty drop dead gorgeous women. It was an all female affair.

Will bring you all the pictures later... for now you guys have to see MY PICTURES taken at the event. Too many fine girls, I don’t want any competition :-).

That’s the good thing about owning a blog, you can make it all about you...any time you want...lol

Check it out...
And no, my boobs aren't that big...you ladies know how we do it :-)
And yes, BLACK again...lol!

So who's finer...Omotola or Linda?
Plsssssssss don't answer that question...lol

In this pic, a First Lady Rep, Nike Oshinowo and Bella Naija...
...Oh yes and Linda...lol

Hope you all are in a happy place right now in your lives...if not, please seek God.
Cheers people.
Mwah!

  10. Linda, your tackiness, childishness and dilutions have no limit. You go up to the lady to take pictures with her, then want people to tell you you look better. You need to ask Bella how to ask act with class and ladylike. And if you think for one second you even stand a chance with Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, then you need your head examined.

  17. adding to my previous comment...linda u shud have worn a jacket/blazer just to step up the blouse...it's not a bad blouse but just plain and u needed a bit more oomph just to make ur look work

  18. @Preye, in my own defence I will say I wasnt particularly dressed to go to Nike's event..I planned to meet some friends on the Island to go see a movie..but stopped by Nike's event first.
@11:59- form 'tush' ke? where i get the time? lol
@anon 3:41, of course I know Omosexy is far prettier...was just kidding with the question...

  20. all of u blasting linda. take it easy.ah ah!she said not 2 answer d question. and besides its not how pretty a woman is dat makes her the envy of her peers, its how classy she is. michelle obama was not born a fashion icon.it all starts by knowing wot works for u.By that i mean weaves look way beta than braids for classy events. ditch d grey's and blacks, they r 2 safe. u can visit d fashion blogs 2.i just feel like u have a great body along with ur persona n truthfully ds look is boring.i no u can bring it linda!wish u all d. best.

  24. @ anonymous 3:41am. 8:59am are you that stupid that you could not detect the humor and sarcasm from linda's phrase?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Please leave Linda alone o! Of course she was just joking and cannot compare herself with a married mother of five or four, who looks like a single girl. Linda, avoid comparison next time o. Omo Sexy may snub you next time you meet...

  26. Linda, tell the truth, what did you do to your boobs

  27. my boss told gave me some advise yrs ago as a young journalist dt i've kept close to my heart n applied everyday thereon. he said "evertime u step out of your house dress for comfort, dress with style n dress to impress cos you neva know who you'll run into".i had gone to work semi sloppy and was suddenly called on to interview a visiting governor.Ofcouse my immediate boss said in no way in the 10th heaven wld he allow me disgrace myself on national t.v. so point taken and treasured. so Linda, u get my drift. you are on a journey to greater heights so invest more in yourself, no excuse. e no easy but worth it eventually.

  28. ALL YE FOOLS BLASTING LINDA COZ U THINK OMOTOLA IS PRETTIER!!!U MORONS ONLY SAY SO COZ OMOTOLA IS LIGHTSKINNED!!!

  29. This is serious!!! 9ija women get issues. Linda was joking with the question. I got the joke. Na Wah Oh!! Linda..You fine and sweet past Omotola. I love the dress and braids. Go Girl!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I believe Linda was playing with the Omosexy thing. But, for her dressing, I think it is too casual. I wouldn't have stopped by, if I were you, knowing how Nigerians always over dress in every occasion.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Na wa for you anonymouses sha. Is it that you guys have no lives that you would come and be dissing. First off, Linda has a great sense of humour and that's what she was employing through out the article, specially in the picture. Abeg leave her be. Seriously, if you guys can't stand, leave. We won't miss you,it's not like she doesn't have true fans! Plus there are ways to get your point across without being disrespectful, and you guys know that, which is why you hide under the cover of anonymous. Complete cowards, the lot of you!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Oh Please Get A GRIP all of you who are taking offense because LI asked who was prettier her or Omotola...can't you take a joke?

Have you all ever heard of a RHETORICAL QUESTION? She even went as far as saying "do not answer that!" yet and still people had to dump their bile here. I don't know Linda but she seems to have a self deprecating sense of humor, one that I understand because I have the same one too but obviously the rest of you who had rose to the "defense" of Omotola take yourselves too damn seriously, you have never made a tongue in cheek statement before in your lives, abi?

Abeg, carry una wahala waka jare! If you are having a bad day, don't log on!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Linda @ 1.18pm: Please do not let these people make you have to defend yourself or make Omotola seem better than you. Omotola is NOT far prettier than you. People over here kissing behind, brown nosing like hell. You are BOTH beautiful Nigerian women in your own ways, you have two different looks from your height to the shape of your faces. You are equal in your beauty so please. I will be the first to admit if a woman is far more striking than I am, levels dey for fineness, I don't have delusions but when I honestly look at Omotola and yourself, you are equally pretty.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Omotola looks 1 million times better!

    ReplyDelete
  35. linda u look sweet,i like ur dress..muaaaaaaaam

    ReplyDelete
  36. Linda, girl you don't have to defend yourself, a joke is a joke, people just need to loosen up. Linda is always kidding like she always does. she is not tacky, childish nor delusional, she is just being herself, while everyone else are hiding under their heavy makeups and expensive clothings.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Linda is very pretty, I mean look at her slender face. Omotola is lightskinned but her face is really ordinary. Try to imagine her face with a different complexion and the difference is clear. Linda's face will always be gorgeous, light skinned or darker. This coming from a gorgeous, brown skinned lady LOL (before you anonymous haters pounce on me, I'll have you know that I am indeed gorgeous and I am not hung up skin color, so y'all can kiss my brown behind)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Some people can't take a joke you know? They take everything too serious. Omotola is a beauty no doubt but everyone is unique in their own way. Linda, its not everyone that understand the word FUN, so be careful next time. I think you look good but most time very plain. Step up ur style girl, you are a big girl and you dont need to break a bank before you look good.

  39. LINDA....SILENCE IS GOLDEN 4 ALL DIS HATERS.
    1) THEY LACKED SENSE OF HUMOR WHICH GOD GAVE U DIVINELY.
2)LET THEM LEAVE THIS BLOG 4 US FOR HEAVEN SAKE.

OMO CARRY GO........IF U KNOW UR FAN BASE............U WILL GIVE GOD D GLORY...........MIMI

  41. Omotola really doesn't look prettier than you. Yes she is pretty cos after 4 kids she still looks great but this look here is cos she's TONED her skin a great deal making her look very attractive. Linda is very pretty in her own right!!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. *sigh* Naija people...chai, i weak for u people sometime o. Wasn't it obvious the girl was joking with the omotola question, as always?.....and as for her clothes...its her choice! She has eyes...and can see whats in vogue et al...if she chooses to dress simple and safe, who's frigging business is it?! She's her own boss, so its not like dressing a certain way is required in her job description *smdh*...and if she was so uncomfortable with her sense of style, knowing Linda, she woulda cried for help a long time ago. So biko, u all need to stop taking panadol for another man's headache.

BTW, isnt this a fitness video launch? the dress code calls for casual jare....its not a dinner awards show people! Its a fitness video launch! sheesh!

PS: Linda i admire ur bravery and ur ability to take and SHARE all these harsh criticisms with the whole world.lol. Cos if i owned this blog enh? The delete button would've been my second name by now. Some of the criticisms are not constructive at all...just down right hateful and uncalled for!

  43. Linda, God loves you and you look beautiful. Pls do not open doors for this untrained animals with no sense insult you.You look nice, natural unlike all the fake women who came for the event. It is nice to look attractive if u are in the public eye a lot bcos of criticism like this. I hope you can learn from this and I wish well.

  44. Damn guysss.Tk a joke. How on earth could Linda have been serious with such a comment. Like isnt it obvious she was joking. But as for the outfit.Linda, what were you thinking. That outfit is hideous.Linda, I know that shopping in Nigeria can be expensive. But just get ur fabrics and have a tailor make u dresses moving forward. For anevent like that, you should know women will be dressed to kill.Pliz my dear, dont ever wear that top again for a dressy event. You can wear it casually tho.You must have felt so out of place that day.Poor thing

  45. Why are people ragging on Linda's outfit, she's not the only person dressed casually at this affair from the pictures I'm looking at and why is noone talking about Omotola, she's pretty casual with a tube top?!? Una na wah o...I wouldn even call Rita Dominic's outfit casual, it's just a shift dress with a belt, nothing done up about that at all. Other people chose to show up dressed up, some showed up casual, why don't you all blame in on the person who sent out a confusing damn invitation? The invite obviously was clear on the dress code.

Linda darling, I do have to say you need to brighten up your color pallet a little, I've only been coming here for a few months and all I seem to see you in is black, gray, I am sure you own some colors dear, you are a beautiful cocoa skinned sister and need to wear bold colors to make your skin pop. Black/Gray make you look dull and besides black/gray attract heat and Nigeria is hot as all get out.

  47. u are just hilarous and down-to-earth to be a lady.see u admitting ur cleavage is not as big as it seems-got me even more interested(or is it part of the game plan?)

    ReplyDelete
  48. People are not used to when someone is simple, genuine and down to earth, so that's where people find it hard to get used to Linda. I like people like that, so that's why I like Linda.

Even if she wears slippers to an event, it shouldn't be anyone's business, as long as she looks clean, it's all good. Another thing is when people are doing something like Linda or in Linda's position, they like showing off, boasting, and try to keep up the image, but it seems like Linda is not like that. The only thing I will say is that, Linda try wearing different colors, that will compliment your complexion, so stay away from the dull colors.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Linda, you look real pretty and even though you played it safe in your dressing (i dont even like the colours),its not bad!

The event is not even as classy as people are screaming about.
