  4. rebecca u r a bit harsh but u r right about the interview with adaeze.ppl just wish them luck.she made a mistake...i know she will correct her mistake

this is the interview culled from http://www.naijarules.com/vb/stars-celebrities-nigerian-movies/29956-no-man-has-ever-approached-me-adaeze-igwe.html

If you see a fine guy who is tall and ready to spend money on you, will you accept him?

"I won’t. If it is someone I like, I will ask him to wait for me if he can. I am not planning to marry now and I don’t think the person would want to wait for me. I don’t want to keep someone waiting until I am ready to get married, because by then I might change my mind about what I’m looking for in a man. I’m thinking of getting married at 26. I will be matured then."

  12. @rebecca, i definitely agree with the first part of your response. in some cultures back in the day, a girl had to prove she was fertile by being pregnant first before the man would marry her but in this born again era wey don full naija finish, it seems that the trend of being pregnant then running to church in a WHITE DRESS is increasing at an alarming rate.

call me judgmental, i don't care but if you are visibly pregnant please refrain from wearing white wedding dress, abeg because that is just stupidity and hypocrisy! the point of the white dress was that the girl was a virgin, now yes we know not everyone wearing the white dress is a virgin BUT at least they don't have proof of not being a virgin stirring everyone in the face!

i hope this young lady understands that atheletes money is very dependent on their physical well being and how well they play for the team. if yobo bursts an ankle, that money is G.O.N.E!!! if yobo doesn't play well, he will be traded around until nobody wants him. SO, you had better be saving any duckets that negro gives you and make hay while the sun is shining. don't be a mugu and shop your way into proverty. these young nigerian women these daysdey appear like dem no get brains. they will be busy showing off to their friends and family that they have done well for themselves with a rich husband meanwhile they know NOTHING of what the man truly owns and what the bank owns, they don't know how the bills are getting paid, if they are at all, they get it, they spend it.

okay, o. make you shine your eyes well when God don bless you with a man who is successfull at something that doesn't require much brain cells. save money for you both just in case and don't say it's his job to do it, GO TO SCHOOL after you drop that baby, find a CAREER for yourself...a word is enough for the wise.

  17. Wow...she is so pregnant in that dress. LOL. I wish them the best in their marital union. Congrats!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Dang! just curious, do u guys (celeb bloggers) even ask for permission before taking pics of people's facebook? LOL To be in d limelight sha.

Anyhow, wish them d best as usual. It's a tad weird cos if she is indeed 20, then she is growing up too fast especially in today's world where women are no longer as patient and tolerant as our mothers were.
But some have succeeded in doing so and I wish them the best.
I love them as a couple tho.
Nice decor. Momsy looked good too. She seems to know alotta my high school friends. E be like say na Enugu she bin base before d whole MBGN hoopla.

  20. must be hard having people comment on your personal life...trials of being a "celebrity".

Always wish people well. So best of luck to her!!!

  21. @ Rebecca
you talk way too much! Geez! Wish them happy married life and quit with all the analysis of their decisions.

    ReplyDelete
  22. @ Rebecca and co, dont judge the girl, lets face it she's not the only one who's been sleeping with her boyfriend, at least he was decent enough not to make her abort the baby and pretend like everythg's ok. Becos she's pregnant doesnt make you or anyone better than her.
Happy married life my dear. may God give u the grace to be a good wife and mother

  23. i dont know but i just have this funny feeling that they will go the 9ice/T payne way. sorry

    @ dith lol

  25. Seriously, what's up with all these pregnant girls on their wedding day. The argument that you have to check on both sides if they are fertile, is so lame to me. But, I applaud them for keeping the baby, bcos abortion is immoral. Some of these girls think they are better just bcos they aborted their babies, compare to the girls that kept their babies, but they are actually worse.

I thought women are starting to learn that, you have to be independent, bcos anytime the man might leave, so you can have something to fall back on, but I guess not. Wait a minute, did someone mention that she's 20, she looks like she's 30 or smth.

    ReplyDelete
  26. exactly eziaha....same method...pregnant on wedding day...marriage fails after almost 2 years....just like 9ice and toni...@ Douby, ABORTION IS WORSE THAN BEING PREGNANT...BUT IN TODAY'S world I THINK ANY GIRL THAT GETS PREGNANT CARELESSLY IS STUPID...SO WHY WUD ANYONE CONSIDER ABORTION...AND BY THE WAY ADAEZE IS NOT A CHILD...i am definitely better than adaeze.i am 21, i have a degree and a job, and i am a married woman with twins. i definitely have more integrity.

    ReplyDelete
  27. i actually wonder where linda got the pictures from

  28. eeeesh rebecca tone down. you sound like u got issues.

    ReplyDelete
  29. rebecca u are wrong for saying that catholics get preggers before marriage. get ur facts right before u speak. ewu-monkey!

    ReplyDelete
  30. @ rebecca with your judgemental comment you sure as heck aint got an ounce of integrity in your freaking bones...

I wish you, your twins, your degree & your hubby a mistake free life.

    ReplyDelete
  31. fuck...she is so FAT!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. @Rebecca...You said you are 21 and married?? What makes you different from her. She is 20 and married. What is wrong with getting pregnant. I thought babies are blessing. I know lots of women that were pregnant on their wedding and still married after 10 yrs and women not pregnant on their wedding and now divorced. Your point is off base, and you are an ugly person inside. Please wish them all the best and move on. Do you know what your future will be or your marriage? I pray it last. I feel sorry for your husband. Gosh!!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. @rebecca:
u r are 21 with a degree and married with twins.... yea rite!
i betcha u got married with a very big bump.. how would u av done it..
stop biffing the adaeze, morever i see no difference between both of u!

  34. OMG, look hw fat she's gotten. Hope she loses all (most) of the weight afterwards. Happy for them though, they look really happy.

    ReplyDelete
  35. dith i dont think they do, just get it from their profile.

bella does not do that, she or her team go to these events. oh well its all good

    ReplyDelete
  36. Rebecca na wa for you oh! Wetin Adaeze do you?? Pls leave her alone; you were so pointless in saying that you're better than she is; and honestly you didn't need to give that redeeming stoey about yousrself - because honestly we don't care!!! This is about Adaeze and not you so ease off with your critisms!!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. @ Cococj... it was New Year's eve oh! I guess Munachi was with her family thanking God in church for another year. Moreover, they kept their wedding toned down and low profile... I kinda admire them for that actually : )

    ReplyDelete
  38. I wish them all the best in life. Marriage is a lifetime institution. I hope they both work together to keep the marriage.

    ReplyDelete
  39. watever u guys say...i don't care.adaeze will regret this...btw yobo is not the best of men judging by his past escapades...go ask louise and co. i didn't get pregnant on my wedding day so i am not ashamed, i can't support anything bad wen i see it and this is bad...look at the number of nigerian girls getting pregnant on their wedding days...so called celebrities....they're in their own world anyways...this is a blog so anyone is free to say wateva including me...ib and co i'm sure none of u are married...why don't u advise ur sisters or friends to get married while pregnant or to leave school for a man...isn't that shameful? i definitely have integrity...sure this is about adaeze but this is becoming common in nigeria today...if u like listen...if u don't like don't listen....sure children are blessings from GOD...not wen u have a child out of wedlock and cover it up with marriage...and adaeze was lying about having done traditional rites which she just did before the wedding...do u think her mother is happy with her?

    ReplyDelete
  40. rebecca, i'm with u jo. i mean if u r going to have sex use protection lyk birth control pills or so. and the church that married them in pregnancy is wrong. i think catholic church allows it, that's rubbish. but in the end, i wish her the best nd i hope yobo treats her well and i wish her happiness and i hope she finishes school, that's very important.
@rebecca, i read that interview she said she was going to get married at 26 cos then she would be matured enough and she isn't matured yet, i hope she is now sha.

  41. @Sweetie.. I got married and had my baby in Undergraduate school. I have BS in accounting and an MBA from one of the top league schools in the U.S and now a Certified Practicing Accountant(CPA). Currently working on my PHD and work for a fortune 100 company as a Senior Analyst. On the side, I also have an accounting business(CPA firm)for major league athletes in my city. Yes..I am a Nigeria woman. Your point is???? Adaeze can finish school with a child. At least, her husband has money. You can't predict her future! Are you God? The God I know is forgiving and loving and doesn't judge. As Christ said "those who have not sinned cast the first stone". You do not have any right to judge anybody.

Birth Control pills and condoms have 99% protection meaning that you have 1% chance of getting pregnant.

You shouldn't judge them from other people's experience. All fingers are not equal. You wish them all the best and move on. Anyway, you are 21(just a kid). I don't have any words for you.I am done with you!!!

  43. na wa for all the bad belle. am sure most of the haters are wishing it was them married to yobo.

Whatever be the reason for the wedding is entirely their business

And as per her age. hw old was Nkechi when Okocha married her?

    Abeg leave stor for tortoise.

    Happy married life

  44. rebecca is so bitter and, how can someone have so much time to talk negatively about a lady who does not even know that you exist. no matter what anyone says she is pregnant and married and visibly happy so it doesnt matter.

its a wedding, if no one has nothing but well wishes, then there is no need to comment.

the normal thing when people get married is to wish them well even if you dont like it just keep it to yourself. GOD is love

    ReplyDelete
  45. @IB, dear girl. I don't think you should have answered Rebecca since she is young and all. I mean, with all your education??? Well, all is well.

    ReplyDelete
  46. WHY ARE WE MAKING ADAEZE TO BE AN ISSUE? IF HER MARRIAGE WORK OR NOT IS IT YOUR BUSINESS? WE NOT CONTRIBUTING AINT? I KNOW MOST GIRLS WISH THEY ARE ADAEZE IF WE ARE TRUTHFUL SO BAD BELLE PEOPLE IF YOU DO NOT LIKE ADAEZE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO MIND HER BUSINESS!!!!! HISS******

    ReplyDelete
  47. @Anon 11:04am..I am making a point and trying to school her on life. Yes..Thank God for Rebecca and my edcation. It is a gift from God. She talked about her Bachelors degree, and how its makes her better than Adaeze or any woman that is college and pregnant. Education is suppose to make you enlighted and compassionate not arrogant.

    ReplyDelete
  48. if she is pregnant at least he loves her enough to marry her. some other men would have made her get rid of the pregnancy so people should just mind their business and face their front. i wish them the best and all happiness.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @ Rebecca i swear you are a waste!!!If you can beat your chest and say you are better than somebody then i I wonder what kind of training you will give your children and what kind of mother u'll be..Even though i dont know you i can see they type of wife you are...I just hope your own marriage wont be a statistic in failed marriages...

BTW-YOU HAVE NO INTEGRITY WHATSOEVER...YOU HAVE AN UGLY INSIDE AND GOD DONT DO UGLY!!!!GOODLUCK IN LIFE

  50. we are in nigeria so most ppl don't mind their business...just like in america...and that's why we are able to say our mindS thru blogs hoping that celebrities involved and others who look up to them read both negative and positive comments...as for people talking about my criticisms...how many of u can sincerely say ur parents, friends or family members picked up a magazine/newspaper about adaeze and yobo and said she made a right decision. didn't ur parents, frineds, or family members give her the insult of her life? it's not a matter of whether he is a rich footballer or whether she is an ex beauty queen...if this happened to any normal person ppl wud have negative things to say...u can see a bad thing and call it good.PERIOD
    !

    ReplyDelete
  51. @ anon January 19, 2010 6:20 PM maybe u r even adaeze....that is ur problem. i didn't insult adaeze by saying i have more integrity i only made a point cuz someone told me she was better than me...NOT!.instead of nigerian girls to be looking at making their lives better and having positive role models that have class and sophistication, they are busy looking at bad characters.of course i'll give my children good traing. what training did munachi's (kanu's wife), or nkechi's (okocha's wife) or even aiyegbeni's wife give them? aren't these women married to footballers? okocha and kanu married their wives when they were young in their late teens. did anyone say anything bad about them cuz they're footballers' wives? NO! that's because those women did the right thing and ADAEZE did not. i am not criticizing adaeze bcos she is married to yobo or cuz she is an ex-beauty queen but because i expected more from her...BTW every nigerian including me was looking forward to the wedding only to be told they had their wedding at 3.30 am...then i knew something was fishy. if she had married yobo without the pregnancy trust me my comments wud have been positive...it's the same thing for annie macaulay who has destroyed her life...she was pergnant for 2fafce twice, not once. i dint bother cuz i dint expect anything better from annie but abeg adaeze is an igbo girl (i know she has ties with the high class ANUMUDU family who wud never support anything bad) and we don't do like that...

    ReplyDelete
  52. na wa for you rebecca. you and your opinions. get off you moral high horse you hypocrite and stop judging the lives of others. you sound bitter and pathetic

  53. no @ anon January 19, 2010 10:50 PM u are pathetic, not me.

  54. abeg rebecca has a point even tho babe talks a lot haba...this ur marriage sef i hope say u dey advice urself sha. but anyway adaeze did something wrong so all of u stop sounding like rebecca is the only nigerian insulting the shit out of adaeze. the truth is ppl have alway talked about this girl. even wen she won they said it was her mother that paid ppl fpr her to win mbgn and ppl said they cheated steph oforka out and put adeze in..the girl don jam money sha but what she has done is very shameful and i understand what rebecca is saying. but rebecca just move on mehn...hope adeze will read this blog but i doubt she will.the rest of u stop insulting urselves...abeg linda don't allow ppl insult themselves here...

  55. You people that are blaming the Catholic church for allowing a wedding to take place when the couple is pregnant are all very foolish indeed. So the pentecostal churches that allow the couple to wed after the child is born, they are better? Some commenters just lack reasoning. I am so vexed at the "density" displayed here. I know a couple in RCCG here in Maryland getting married in May. The girl got pregnant two years ago, and they both decided to abort the baby. These two people are workers in the church. However they both came clean and confided in the Pastor. Of course they were chastised but they are still getting married two years later. Just because you derail from God's plan for you, it doesn't mean when you return contrite that God will not accept you. So please if you were in the position of the priests and catholic church counselors, what will you ask yourself? Better to wait for the child to be born? To what purpose does that serve? Stupid people make me SICK!!!!

  56. Ada just got married to someone who earns 20million naira every week, if you cant live with that, i suggest you shave with a blunt razor or better still go and w@nk with a hacksaw. . .

  57. Rebecca, all you are is a bloody hater who needs to shut it and go fuck a goat...if u cant be happy for them then its best you jump in a well...or better still the red sea..you are just a ranter and i don't know what gives you the flipping right to talk about someone in this manner...I bet YOBO must have fucked and dumped your ass that's why you are so bitter...you must be sticking your fingers up there while wishing you were in Adaeze's Manolo Blahnik shoes...If you care so much about education why did you stop at 1 degree...you should have done MASTERS, PHD, LECTURING AND EVEN BECOME A PROF...but not to worry you already have all these qualifications and attainments in hating.why don't you get a life and stop with the stupid comments...i thought you have twins...u shud be feeding them rather than wasting your energy hating on this beauty queen...after all she has a crown to prove it...but u DON'T....bwahahahahahaha....happy married life to this beautiful couple...I pray that all your haters get flushed down the toilet like tissue...
