Ridiculous: Michael Jackson's face on baby scan

An image captured in a baby scan has been claimed to be the 'double' of Michael Jackson.

Parents-to-be Dawn Kelley, 34, and William Hickman, 29, were looking at the ultrasound scan of their unborn baby when they realised it looked like the late pop singer.

Mother-of-six Miss Kelley, 34, went for her 20-week scan at Sunderland Royal as normal last month, but doctors could not see the foetus’s stomach or diaphragm. A few weeks later she was sent to Grindon Lane Walk in Centre for a closer look. The more powerful scanner there is normally used to examine internal organs so the images it produces much more detailed.

Kelley said: “I’ve had plenty of scans before and none of the photos have ever looked like this one. It’s a bit spooky really, but it is my seventh child, and they say seven is a mythical number.”

 LOL!!!

Nollywood movie: Nollywood Hustlers

Synopsis of Nollywood Hustler.

Emem Isong and Uche Jombo collaborate to shoot a new comedy titled ‘Nollywood Hustler’.
Elvis (Charles Inojie) and Lucky (Bishop) are two no-good-out-of-work hustlers who want to shoot a film. They enlist the help of Prince Adolphus Akabogwu (Ejike Asiegbu) to sponsor it and the pepper soup joint assistant Scholarstica (Uche Jombo) to feature. But how do they get the A-List actors, Monalisa Chinda and Ramsey Nouah (acting as themselves) to act without paying their exorbitant fee? They then come up with a brilliant plan that leads to severe consequences for the pair. ‘Nollywood Hustler’ is a satire on the film making process in Nigeria, that will leave you laughing from start to finish.

Produced by Emem Isong & Uche Jombo.

Shaniya Davis: The murder of a 5year old girl

Beautiful 5year old Shaniya Davis lived with her father all her life until in october '09, when an informal agreement was reached between Shaniya's parents to let her stay with her mum for a little while.

Shaniya's mum, Antoinette Davis, (pictured above), who never played a role in Shaniya's life, met Shaniya's father one night, had sex with him once, found out she was pregnant, had the baby and dumped her with the father, until last month when the father agreed to let Antoinette have Shaniya for a few weeks.

On Tuesday Nov 10th Shaniya disappeared from her mother's home. Her mother reported her missing and thus began the search.

On Monday Nov 16th, Shaniya's body was found in a wooded area just south of Sanford. The 5year old had been raped and strangled.

Then an image made from surveillance video showed a man carrying 5-year old Shaniya Davis in the hallway of a hotel in Sanford, NC. The man was identified as Mario Andrette McNeill, 29. Shaniya's mother's business partner. Shaniya was seen with him on Nov. 10, 2009, about an hour after she disappeared from her home in Fayetteville, about 40 miles away

During investigation into the murder, police found out that Shaniya's 25 year old mum had offered her child to Mario McNeill, whom she owed money, for child prostition, out of desperation.

Antoneitte has since been charged with human trafficking and felony child abuse.

Police say Shaniya was raped and strangled. Mario McNeill has been charged with first degree murder and first degree rape. He's already admitted to the kidnapping the girl.

RIP little lady...so sorry about what happened to you.

Don't stories like this just break your heart? This is so wrong.

I won't go back to music - Ebenezer Obey

"There's no going back to the music industry. I have laid my hands on the plough. Jesus says no man having put his hand to the plough and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God. My major preoccupation now are:
1. The work of the ministry in my church
2. Crusade programmes
3. Revival and other programmes of the body of Christ
4. Making myself useful to humanity through the gift of God deposited in me.
However, I recognise that the gift of God in me produced all those evergreen records that I recorded over forty years ago and the gift is still there to the glory of God but no more music."

Evangelist Ebenezer Obey’s address at the ‘Evening with Ebenezer Obey’ music concert hosted by City People Magazine last week.

Jennifer Hudson to play Winnie Mandela

It has been announced that Oscar winner, Jennifer Hudson, will play the life of the former wife of Nelson Mandela in the new biopic, Winnie.

When asked about accepting the role, Jennifer replied:

“I was compelled and moved when I read the script. Winnie Mandela is a complex and extraordinary woman and I’m honored to be the actress asked to portray her. This is a powerful part of history that should be told.”

Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, born 26 September 1936 was married to Nelson Mandela for many years and was a fighter against apartheid as Nelson is. She too was jailed for her campaigning.

Although still married to Nelson Mandela at the time of his becoming president of South Africa in May 1994, she was never the first lady of South Africa, as the couple had separated two years earlier after revelations that Winnie had been unfaithful after Nelson's release from prison in February 1990. The final divorce went through on 19 March 1996.

As a controversial activist, she is popular among her supporters, who refer to her as the 'Mother of the Nation', yet reviled by others, mostly due to her alleged involvement in several human rights abuses, including the torture and murder of 14-year old Stompie Moeketsi in 1989.

In March 2009, the Independent Electoral Commission ruled that Winnie Mandela, who was selected as an ANC candidate, could run in the April 2009 general election, despite having a fraud conviction. **

A film I definitely want to see

Nigerian man marries daughter to get her UK Visa

A Nigerian Home Office worker, Jelili Adesanya, 54, married his own daughter to get her a British visa.

Mr Adesanya has lived in the UK for more than 30 years and holds a British passport, but wanted his daughter, her husband and their four sons to join him from Nigeria.

He faked a wedding ceremony complete with a photograph of the happy 'couple' which helped convince immigration officials that his daughter, Karimotu Adenike, was really his wife.

Miss Adenike, who is in her mid-30s, was duly granted permission to live in the UK.
The pair are waiting for her to be granted a permanent right to remain before they undergo a quiet divorce and attempt to bring the rest of her family here. **

Man kills son for touching baby sister

A father in Michigan shot his son in the head for allegedly admitting to him that he had touched his 3-year-old sister sexually. Police said Jamar Pinkney Sr. forced his son, Jamar Pinkney Jr., to get naked and then he led him out of his mother’s Highland Park home Monday and shot him execution-style in the head in a nearby field.

The victim’s mother and her sister told police that Jamar Pinkney Sr. came into the home Monday afternoon with a gun and began arguing with his son. Family members said the argument stemmed from a confession made by the son. According to Jamar Pinkney Jr.’s family, the teen told his mother that he’d touched his 3-year-old half-sister inappropriately at his father’s Detroit home.

The toddler is his father’s daughter with another woman. Jamar Pinkney Jr.’s aunt Yolanda Cherry told Local 4 she was in the home during the argument. “He beat my nephew real bad in the head, where he had knots like he had been in a boxing ring,” said Cherry. When Cherry tried to intervene, she said, the father pulled out a gun.

“I ran down the street to get police down here and I heard a gunshot,” said Cherry. Witnesses at the scene told Local 4 that they saw Jamar Pinkney Sr. order the naked teen out of the home and to an empty field. A woman who did not want her identity revealed told Local 4 what she saw.

“He brought him out the house, he walked him over there and said, ‘Get on the ground,’ and he’s like, ‘No, Daddy, no, Daddy,’ and next thing you know, he grabbed his head and he shot him,” said the witness. The witness said the father calmly got into his vehicle and drove away. “He was calm and drove off like a regular person, like he didn’t do anything, and I am like, ‘wow,’” said the witness. Police were looking for the father after he fled the area. He was caught a few hours later. “Whatever my grandson did there, there is nothing in this world that was worth taking his life. He got him down on his knees and killed him,” said the boy’s grandfather.**
