My sisters practically forced me to abandon my 2/3 grand yaki weave for Sleek hair that cost me more than I've ever spent on hair weaves...

Laters!!!
I really don't get why "the Unrulies" are on the list of best team of the year. I thought they were just a group of friends (just for fun)...maybe I need to be educated about what they ACTUALLY do that makes them qualify to be nominated. I'm not hating at all, just wondering. Is it only me biko?
ReplyDeleteOh, btw...congrats oh Linda...you soo deserve it!!! Aww, wont be in lagos this year, maybe next time.
ReplyDeleteCongrats linda,I hope u win.
ReplyDelete@Anon
ReplyDeleteThe Unrulies are not just friends, but a team of friends who have come together to set targets and achieve them. Apart from their networking event, the Unruly party, they were involved in MI'S Album Launch, Dbanj's Album Launch, amongst others. That i believe is the idea of that category; those who come together as a team to achieve stuff
Good, happy for u, but kindly edit the best use of technology as Yusuf Jimoh is a sepearte names on its on , it is not together with Yinak adetoye
ReplyDeleteLol@ Unrulies, always thought it was like a clique of young lagos 'celebs'
ReplyDeleteThis award still sounds like the grammys too me. Model and Dancer of the year? How about performing artist of something?
And then all the consultants, bankers, lawyers, engineers were LUMPED in one Professional category.
Hmmmmmmm.
Its better this year but someone better fix the naming of the categories.
Dancing hasn't reached the stage hat banking has so maybe in a few years but I don't think it (or Modeling sorta) should get separate individual categories while professionals are lumped.
Congrats on your nomination!!!!!
was Sleek worth it, how much did u pay, where can I see/buy it? Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteAnon 1 - I was just coming in to say the same. I love the UnRulies and all but what exactly do they do? Is it just a way to make sure they are out there? Doesn't make an iota of sense - yet?
ReplyDeleteOya Mimi, Lola, Ebuka, Miss Bucknor, Blackie and co, come and explain your fab selves?
How about a category for bloggers? And another one for writers???
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Linda! Hope you win.
@12:45...I bought it at downtown salon on bode thomas surulere, it cost me about 25grand.It's worth it in terms of texture and feel, it now depends on how long it lasts. i'll let u know in a month...
ReplyDeleteThanks Vera...really appreciate
ReplyDelete@ anonymous no 1!!!i second you!!someone needs to tell me why the unrulies are there?a group of 'celebrity' (not that they are but i dont know what to call them) that hang out and they are nominated for what exactly!!!me too i am not biffing but seriously i want to know what they do!
ReplyDeleteok i just saw the part that someone explained that they were involved in so and so album launch!!!and then wat?lol!!
well i guess 9ja lacks too many original peopla
linda N25,000 weave!!!why now...d thing too cost chei
Linda best of luck with future awards and least we see what you are doing!!!
In this age and at this time, there is need to have the best photographer of the year in other to encourage talents in this field. The importance of photographers cannot be over emphasized. This blogspot would not have conveyed its message but for the nice photographs. Linda, try to communicate this message to the organizers of the award.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
