| This is Mercy Nnamdi, the woman whose husband killed their son and burnt her with hot iron |
I have been married for just two years with a 14 months old baby. About seven months after I got married my husband slapped me for coming home late. I was pregnant at the time. He slapped me again in December 2011 because of a statement I made to him. Then just last week he slapped me for the third time during an argument. He hasn't been very violent but I'm afraid it will happen one day. Should I be worried? Should I divorce him because he slapped me?

The events in Benin on the 28th of April 2012 is now common knowledge (a failed AGN election held that day in Benin). I know I constituted an independent Agnec that was supposed to be devoid of any electoral rancour or external influences.
For my integrity and honour, I hereby resign as president of Actors Guild of Nigeria and it comes into effect immediately.
I thank the state chapter chairmen, his fellow presidents from other guilds in Nollywood, all AGN members and especially the media for their tremendous support.
I want to thank profoundly my wife, Julie, for holding on during the challenging period of service to the guild.

| Police officer with the money discovered in the car |
He was getting out of the car and his belt got pulled by this hook on the car door and he was trying to pull it up quicker ..and his belt was really heavy. It was a wardrobe malfunction," she said bashfully.

When I was twenty years old and dating my first serious boyfriend, my grandma Carmela asked my mother point-blank if I was still a virgin. She didn't get an answer, but I came home on my next college break to find the now-infamous Grandma Sex Letter patiently awaiting my arrival, the grandmotherly cursive writing on the back of a newsletter from her senior housing facility belying its scandalous nature. What follows is explicit yet touching advice on sex and love from my eighty-six-year-old grandma.Continue to read the letter. You will learn a lot :-)

I am an optimist as far as Nigeria is concerned…but in the last two months, I began to wonder, our house is on fire. Nigeria is becoming Somalia. The Somalisation of our country is going on now. Let’s look at ourselves in the face and tell ourselves the truth and find solution to the problem. We have to sit down and tell ourselves the truth. The responsibility is on us the northerners: our house is on fire, let us not deceive ourselves. The security situation is tolling on us. Borno State is today a failed state, Jigawa state is almost a failed state and Kano is moving towards becoming a failed state.”
Today I will like to assert that our government will not be stampeded into paying any wage we are not part of negotiating and which the fund to pay them is not provided for and given to us. I recognise that Item 34 of the Exclusive Legislative List gives the Federal Government the power to make legislation for a minimum wage. That is where the power ends. We have complied with the minimum wage since January 2011 long before it was signed into law. We should be left to decide what more we can afford to pay over the minimum to any cadre of worker.”

I have given up on dating. It just hasn't worked out well for me. I'm a really emotional person. I give my all and everything. I do make mistakes, like every human does, but the last relationship was just too much of a heart break for me. I just can't go through that anymore. It was hard. I just have to remove myself from that atmosphere for about the next decade or so.Dear women, don't let a broken relationship leave you bitter. Life is too short, love is too beautiful!
