The families of the victims went to court to seek justice and compensation. BB chat between nude girl and the fraudster who exposed her photos

It seems like there's a trend now. Some of you might have seen naked photos of Nigerian girls splashed all over the internet; from Twitter to Facebook to blogs. Some girls apparently take naked photos of themselves with their phones, they lose the phones, some people find it and threaten to expose the photos if they don't pay a certain amount of money. This BB chat, exclusively obtained by CKN Nigeria, is between student Miss Solaja (her nude photos are online) and the person who found and exposed the photos.

Shouldn't this be a crime? And dear girls, stop taking naked photos of yourselves...it might get in the wrong hands.

Indian Child Bride Has Marriage Annulled

Laxmi Sargara was only a year old when her family married her off to Rakesh, who was only three years old at the time. When Laxmi and Rakesh grew up, they did something unprecedented. They had their marriage annulled, reversing the very archaic Indian tradition and opening the door for more child couples to follow.

A few days after her parents gave her a deadline to move in with her in-laws, 18 year old Laxmi reached out to social worker in India who advocates for children's right, asking for help. The social worker contacted Laxmi's husband, who agreed to an annulment.

It is the first example we know of a couple wed in childhood wanting the marriage to be annulled, and we hope that others take inspiration from it," Kriti Bharti, the social worker who orchestrated the annulment, told AFP.

The extradition of Olaniyi Jones Makinde

26 year old Olaniyi Jones Makinde is a wanted man in the USA for being part of a 7-man criminal gang that stole $3.2 million from payroll companies and banks between 2009 and 2010, by using fake websites to trick people into giving up their online usernames and passwords. The other six are: Karlis Karklins, Charles Chidi, Waya Nwaki, Osarhieme Obaygbona, Marvin Dion Hill and Alphonsus Osuala

When the activities of his gang was discovered by FBI in 2010, Olaniyi escaped the US and returned to Nigeria. Unfortunately for him, the US police informed the EFCC about his activities in the US and his wanted status there. The EFCC tracked him down in Nigeria and arrested him.

He's been in Ikoyi prisons since January 2012 where he will be until May 30th where a Federal High Court will hear the extradition request filed by the office of the Attorney General of the Federation against him.

According to the FBI report, aside from stealing from companies and banks, Olaniyi also stole from individuals by assuming the false identity of a sexy white chick named Brenda Stuart, and tricking men into sending money and their account details to him.

University of Ibadan shut down for two weeks over students protest

Students of the University of Ibadan took to streets on Monday April 23rd and yesterday Tuesday April 24th, to protest the non availability of water and electrical supply in the institution, paralyzing academic activities in the university for two days. The students, during the protest, said electricity had not been stable in the school for weeks, and decided to protest after witnessing total blackout for three straight days.

The students took their protest beyond the school gates and mounted roadblocks around the UI/Ojoo road, causing serious traffic. All efforts to pacify the students failed, as they promised to continue protesting until their demands are met.

Following the two day protest, the University authority has shut down the institution for two weeks with immediate effect. Their reason for closing down the school? To abort the indefinite protest by students and to give them time to fix some of the problems the student complained about.

Uche Jombo Saves Van Vicker From SSS Detention

In what can only be described as a scene from a Nollywood movie, screen diva Uche Jombo recently saved Ghanaian actor Van Vicker from a real-life detention in the hands of the SSS!!

Impeccable sources revealed to Bola Aduwo that Van was in Nigeria a couple of days ago. Apparently he had some prop guns from America which he planned to use in a movie. After passing all security checks, he entered the plane and while on-board, his attention was called to by airport security to identify what he had in his luggage. He identified that they were prop guns, the security  personnel at the airport were not convinced and said they have to get their experts in Ikoyi to check it out! That was how Van was whisked off to the SSS gulag in Ikoyi where he eventually passed the night!
