Plain and simple, it's got complex. The guy was said to have refused to sign a drafted prenuptial when she was ready to marry him a few years ago, which in America, is a red flag. He's a lawyer and can use all the Harvard Law books to swindle her out of her cash. She also might have waited a bit too long and feels some sort of staleness in their relationship. This guy was a real knight in shining armour to her after the horrific murders of her family members. Yes, he was there for her but who knows, maybe if not for circumstances, she might have just dated him and moved along with no child involved. The whole situation is a catch 20/20 one. There really aren't that many choices of responsible black American men, simple. David is African, educated with a bit of African American mentality and Jennifer might just be too scared to leave or marry him
She and him are fine for now. Maybe when he gets some Insta model pregnant, if he is the type, that is, then they will both be able to make up their minds.
