Canada to mark 151st birthday with weed legalization in 2018

Canada will be marking its151st birthday in style, as recreational Marijuana will be legalized for all Canadians over the age of 18 by July 1. 2018.
According to reports, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Liberal Party will officially announce the plan on April 10.
The move comes after major political parties. As well, a majority of Canadians showed support to legalizing and regulating marijuana in line with the November recommendations of a federally appointed task force on the drug.
In the proposed plan, the country’s federal government will oversee supply and licensing, while provinces would reportedly have the right to decide how marijuana will be distributed and sold.

The report also indicated that Canadians will also be able to grow up to four marijuana plants in their household when it's finally legalized.
