They are members of the aristocracy / nobility but the fact that they have a title doesn't indicate 'royalty'. Only people who have a direct bloodline to the Royal Family are classed as being Royal. It's a structure of Royalty, Peerage (Dukes, Lords etc to which this family belong) and Baronetage (Knights, styled Sir/Dame etc). Interesting historic stuff but not everyone with a title is Royal. Not that it matters really as we are all human beings.
