The National Association Of Nigerian Students (NANS) felicitates with the newly crowned 40th Monarch of the Benin kingdom

His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare ll, Oba of Benin

On behalf of all Nigerian Students at home and in the diaspora, I, Comr. Harrison Efe Ogiemwanre, National Secretary-General of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) felicitates with the newly crowned Oba of Benin, HRM Omo N'Oba N'edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II on his coronation as the 40th Oba of the Benin Kingdom.
Taking a cue from your coronation speech; as the  custodian of the bini cultural heritage, it is very obvious that our history and culture will be properly placed during your reign and your vision for your teeming youths to engage and encourage them in artistry works is highly appreciated by your subjects and the entire student community.

It is a rare privilege to witness this history. All that precedes your coronation; as experienced in 1933 and 1979 has also now seen the global audience regaled in 2016.

We pray that Almighty God and our ancestors make your reign more glorious than that of your forefathers. The student community is ready and willing to key into all developmental strides as it concerns your vision for the youths.

May you live Long!
Long may you reign!!
Oba ghato kpere,  Isè

Signed:
Harrison Efe Ogiemwanre
National Secretary General,
National Association of Nigerian Students.

  11. Before now I have always been one of those people dat ask the question "who NANS help".. But of recent I experienced first hand that indeed they helped me and other nigerian students..

Remember news went round sometime ago that NYSC will b slashing names of PCM and later reverted that order? IT WAS NANS WHO MADE DAT POSSIBLE! .. to add insult to injury, uniben still slashed d names of her students and the NANS body took it upon it self to make sure that we all were mobilized and uniben send our names to abuja... Since then I am now a strong SUPPORTER OF D NANS MOVEMENT!...

Just last week abi last 2 weeks self, they started a battle for AAU students as a result of d 400 percent hike in school fees, the battle is still ongoing but am positive they will win..

Why am I saying all this? We nigerian students shud embrace this new Nans with open arms.. They re for us (nigerian students).. They re working for us! Its high time we appreciate them and drop that " who they help" mentality.. Change is here ppl.. ALUTA CONTINUA..!!

  13. This is a little bit late, but it's better that they still facilitated, maybe the stress from the nysc issue that they've been trying to resolve made them forget. I wonder if they even went to the coronation as a body.
God bless them for what they did duing the whole issue

    Long live the king
