Among them were 16 women, two of whom are pregnant, a child, and 27 unaccompanied minors. Most of the people rescued were coming from Nigeria and other West African countries.

"The worsening conditions of the sea seem not to be stopping desperate people from attempting the dangerous crossing" the agency said

  9. Na wa o. Nigerians are really suffering. But is it worth it to die at sea? It's too risky. And they are not giving asylum in Europe anymore. They are just keeping people in camps (prison) or deporting back to Africa. It's not worth it!!!!!!! Be warned.

  14. . . . It is rather sad that the Times of Malta has Corruptly (and Consistently) Refused to highlight the huge amount of Racism (and Xenophobia) which Foreign HEALTHCARE Professionals have to endure throughout their stay on the Maltese Islands.

We also find it Utterly Alarming that the Editor of the Times of Malta still has the Bloody Guts (and Flipping Cheek) to Openly Attempt to Brazenly Hoodwink almost 1000 European Medicine Agency (EMA) Staff to permanently come down to this Corrupt (and God-Forsaken) Little Country.

What (Precisely) are they coming here to do ?

Are they coming to Sniff the Sweaty Armpits of our Corrupt Health Minister (Chris Fearne) ?

Or are they coming here to Kiss the Ample Bosom of Charmaine Gauci (the Corrupt Superintendent of Public Health) ?

Or Maybe (Perhaps) to Tickle the Pudgy Little Tummy of Saviour Cachia (the Corrupt Information and Data Protection Commissioner) ?

We currently have an Utterly Shocking Case where a Black EU Doctor was Racially Abused by a Highly Distinguished Cabal of Maltese Public Health Medicine Doctors , who then (Graciously) 'Sat On' his Specialist Accreditation Application for 7 Painful Years ; To Date.

They Neither Rejected the Application , Nor Accepted It.

. . . Quietly and Calmly , with the Full Support of the (Relevant) Health Ministers (and Prime Ministers , plus their respective Information and Data Protection Commissioners) , They Simply Did Nothing for Seven Years (while , of course , Eagerly Processing the Applications of those Local Maltese Applicants with Less Qualifications than him) . . .

In Fact , one of those (Allegedly) Racist Maltese Doctors is Now Malta's Top Superintendent of Public Health ; which Clearly Goes to Show You what kind of a place the Maltese Islands really are – most especially when it comes to (Highly Qualified) Foreigners.

As if that was not enough , the Former Manager in the Information and Data Protection Commissioner's Office (Ian Deguara) ; WHO INITIALLY LOST , (WE REPEAT , LOST , AS IN *L-O-S-T* ) , MOST OF THE FILES IN RELATION TO THE CASE , has recently been promoted to the Hallowed Status of IDPC Director.

OUR (CANDID) OPEN MESSAGE TO ALL FOREIGN HEALTHCARE WORKERS (OUT THERE) IS PURE AND SIMPLE : DO NOT EVER EVEN THINK OF BOTHERING TO PERMANENTLY RELOCATE TO (RACIST) MALTA !
