First Bank set to sack 1000 of its workers

First Bank of Nigeria is planning to sack at least 1000 of its staff. According to Bloomberg, the plan to cut jobs is as a result of the banks 82% loss in profit after its financial year ending for 2015. The bank also plans to focus less on providing loans to the oil industry as part of measures to increase its profit for the year 2016.

Sacking ur staff will not solve the issue, ur network is always down, improve on it and leave people to feed their families.

Sacking will not solve the problem. The should try to improve their network and other activities. Instead of Sacking, cut down their salaries. *speaking my mind*

The old ones in the system should be retired.
You can not live them there and sack the younger
ones.

They should sack them, let them face reality and the real world ,half of Nigerian problems were caused by bankers ,I feel no sympathy for them ,they are useless to Nigerians.

FIRST BANK TALK TRUE?!!!!
THE BANK OFICIALS GAVE A 64BILLION NAIRA LOAN TO AN OIL PROSPECTING MAGNATE.
THE MAN COULD NOT SERVICE THE LOAN AS THE OIL WELL FOR WHICH HE ACQUIRED THE LOAN DID NOT REAP ANY FRUIT
HENCE THE BANK IS ALMOST BANKRUPT...THESE OFFICIAL MORTGAGED THE LIVES OF WORKERS AND HARDWORKING NIGERIANS WHO ARE THEIR SHAREHOLDERS TO RECEIVE BRIBES FROM THE OIL MAGNATE.

NOW 1000 PEOPLE WILL SUFFER FOR SOME BANK OFFICIALS INEPTITUDENESS.....EFCC SHOULD PLEASE BE CALLED TO THIS MATTER
THE LIVES OF NIGERIANS CANNOT BE MORTGAGED THIS WAY ####CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
