We already have 3 different answers.. 5+4=9 by removing one match stick from the 6 and adding it to the last 4 8-4=4 by removing a match stick from the plus sign and adding it to the 6 match sticks. Then lastly, 0+4=4 by removing a match stick from the 6 and turning it into 0. That's all from me. Thanks

Solution1: Move the lower left vertical match on 6 turning it into 5 and move it to close that gap in 4 resulting in a possible equation: 5+4=9.
Solution 2: Move the vertical match on the variable + to turn it to - and plug it in the vacant 6 to make it 8; thus turning the equation to: 8-4=4.
Lastly, move the middle match in 6 to close the gap to turn it to 0. This delivers an amazing result: 0+4=4.
Lesson: in an organization, there are tough tasks to be completed, which sometimes seems impossible, but deeper analysis will throw the solution to the surface! 3 different possibilities!!! Taking an appropriate move or steps gives different solution. I.e two ways of achieving a '4' and one way of achieving a '9'. Its amazing!!!
However, some people/process cannot be moved without drastically affecting the entire process - like the middle 4.

Solution 2. Move the vertical match in the plus sign to make it minus and fix it on the opening of 6 to make it 8; thus the equation becomes 8-4=4.
Soulution 3: Lastly, close the 6 with its own divider's march to turn it to 0, thus the equation becomes 0+4=4.
Lesson learnt: In an organization, there are several ways of solving hard scenarios, and you have resources to do all things, even when its obvious there is no solution. A move, encouragement, reorganization, job rotation and rewards system can make a difference. Some people/conditions cannot be changed - like the middle 4, which remains unchanged throughout the process. An attempt to change it would permanently disrupt the whole process.
