Gunmen behead one, abduct another in Rivers

A 28 year old man simply identified as Ukeoma was killed and beheaded by unidentified gunmen this morning at Mgbuitanwo, in Emohua Clan, Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, the home country of the Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in this Saturday’s rerun elections.

Another resident of the area was abducted by the gunmen as they fled the scene of the incident. This will be the second beheading that has taken place in Rivers state in the last two weeks.

    Its not APC or PDP, these people are prone to violence. I'm not defending violence but before you rush to condemn OBJ's action in Odi and Zakibiam, remember they killed and decapitated a number of soldiers. OBJ gave them an ultimatum to produce the perpetrators, they didn't so he sent in the soldiers. Violence is just so rife there, like they can't conduct even a simple family election without violence.

    Rivers men equals lazy men. a typical rivers man's profession is politics, you see them early in the morning drinking alcohol, discussing politics from morning till night. no handwork nothing just relying on their great grand father's house to inherit and become landlord. they are used as political thugs. i am yet to see a rivers especially an ikwere man who is not a politician. lazy tribe full of lazy men.

    That is what PMB want and i'm sorry he will get it. Imagine Ameachi that could't pay salaries and pensions in his 2nd term is all over the areas causing unrest cos he wants to control the oil money.And i know d present gov will not take it. Even though i know cult activities is usually high in Rivers State, PMB should caution Ameachi to avoid the oil producing state boiling. Let there be free and fair election. Nobody should use the Army or thugs to rig d election.
