This discovery comes after 23,000 ghost workers were discovered in February, saving the Federal government N2.29 Billion in salary
"On the issue of the ghost workers, of the 23,000 that we have removed from our payroll, we are now investigating another potential 11,000. Again we are using computer techniques to identify those who we need to investigate, so we are now looking at the second batch and as we resolve those cases we would inform you of the amount saved and the number of people removed”she said

The economy is harsh, yet salaries are not improving. Employment opportunities are no where to be found. That's is grossly unfair
Madam Minister of Labour, sorry Finance, can you please focus the same effort to getting the economy working and give us an economic agenda! all these ghost worker thing should now be passed to the appropriate ministry of Labour (i.e. your collegue Mr. Ngige) to drive. We need economic policies to save the Naira and increase earning from export and local consumption.

I've never heard this dimwit talk about fiscal policy and her plans, as the finance minster, to address the deplorable state of our economy. All she talks about is ghost works, like that's the core function of a finance minister. Goes to show how incapable and unqualified she is.
