Ben Murray-Bruce reacts to reports that CBN is illegally recruiting the children of the rich

According to Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, all those indicted in the illegal recruitment exercise in the Central Bank of Nigeria should be investigated and punished.

CBN was recently accused of carrying out secret recruitment exercise where the children of top members of the society were secretly recruited into the apex bank's workforce.

Give a poor graduate that job and you will see excitement

  35. True True True!!! Nepotism everywhere and that is why corruption is thriving. AMCON is a case study. They have failed woefully to achieve their goal because the corrupt people have planted their people there. Check for yourself more than 80% of AMCON staff has influential surnames.

  39. I feel so cheated and angry and we should all feel the same. These kids are not better qualified than any of us nor can they best us at any test CBN chooses to set. Are these children the people that will over time be promoted to key positions in CBN and other key, sensitive parastatals. Are we to rely on these self entitled rich kids to manage our economy in the future?

  42. What is the essence of going to school when the so called vacancy(s) position are mortgaged for the son of the so called rich men and elite. When such position is ill gotten what do you expect?
To loot treasury just like their respective poli-robbers and kleptomania DG fathers and mothers.

  43. My people we can see how this country is being run. This is not happening in CBN alone, whatever investigation should be extended to other agencies of Government like SEC, NDIC, FIRS, NPA, CUSTOM, ITF,PENCOM etc. My position is that all recruitment from January 1, 2015 till date be reversed, proper adverts should be placed on national newspapers, interviews conducted and appointments given to qualified and successful candidates. If President Buhari's, Atiku's, Arase's, daughters/sons/cousins/nephews perform better than me let them take the job but if not let me (the right candidate) take the job. It is senseless to hear from CBN of defense like targeted candidates, HOW? FROM WHERE? AT WHAT OCCASION?

  45. Now that Nigeria is waking up from slumber, other govt. agences should also be looked into.
They want to plant their people to continue looting from where they stopped.
