Two people have died in Ondo state following an outbreak of Lassa fever in the stat. 30 people who had contact with the victims when alive, have been quarantined in order to curtail any
further spread.
The state Commissioner for Health, Dayo Adeyanju, and a team of
health workers had since Wednesday been moving across the local
governments of the state to raise awareness on the disease and educate
residents on measures to check the outbreak.
Do we have a minister of health? How come nothing has been said bout how these diseases are getting contained??
