"I want to play at the federal level' - Jim Nwobodo decamps to APC

Governor of the old Anambra State, and former presidential candidate on the platform of PDP,  Sen. Jim Nwobodo, 75, has decamped to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The former Minister of Sports yesterday January 8th moved from his old party, PDP to APC. He made the announcement at an APC meeting in Enugu

Nwobodo said his reasons for decamping is because he wants to play at the federal level. He disclosed that he warned PDP about their impending ‘doom’ following the exit of five of their then Governors. He also revealed that his wife, Mrs. Pat Nwobodo, is already a member of APC and even joined the party before him. Senator Ekwunife, representing Anambra Central has also decamped!
