  11. Lols... I was in that camp in May and I know that poultry ward is horrible. Though people that stayed there during my own time said that the poultry is a good place. Even though I don't see anything good there. They allocated that hostel to boys in our own set. It's like the girls are much this time around. They have very good hostels cos I was in hostel C then and it's was nice. Poultry ward is only for those that came late to camp, so they should manage it. What I don't like there is their water. It's extremely harsh... n that one is not NYSC's fault.

  19. Ewww it is a regrettable lugubrious to seen my people living in this kind of place they called NYSC camp. As rich as Rivers State nd Nigeria are it was this poultry they builds as NYSC camp. They should #change this poultry for my people as NYSC camp who so ever in charge of NYSC#.

I think is the worst NYSC camp in Nigeria.

  33. One oily finger soils the rest. Fix the hostel. No excuses whether one corper is late or not. An NYSC Camp ought to be inviting and uplifting to create a good mood for national service.

  35. Do people still go for NYSC? Na wa o. I'd rather sell goods than conform to dirt, filthy and unhygienic environment. Since you guys to speak up for your rights, instead you pack your bags hurriedly to serve a country that doesn't value it's citizen. Make una dey enjoy the crap treatment that comes with it. I will never, ever do NYSC, and those are my reasons. If you subject yourself to that kind of shot, you'll take shot for the rest of your life. I am yet to see any camp in Nigeria that the toilet is as clean as my Father's old house at least. Women I pity una past, putting up with all this filth esp during your monthly visitor that you need to clean up. NYSC my foot.

  42. My experience in Obubra camp Cross River State during 2013 Batch C Camping was horrible. The facilities are too bad. Those concerned should do something about this, cause is not good for Cross River with it beauty as a tourist destination. I represent Lasvegas hostel the most rugged hostel in Obubra camp. water to fetch, cloths to wash....

  50. Yet NYSC top officials live in affluence. I heard of an NYSC director in Abuja, who bought an apartment for her fresh graduate daughter as at then, in a block of luxury apartments somewhere in Maitama, opposite Dunes, for $1m (One million Dollars). I don't know why it has been difficult for successive governments to look into the affairs of NYSC and how their "monies" are spent. Do we talk about the ever increasing list of "Ghost Corpers", whose allowances are shared by NYSC top officials. This has been the practice over time, yet nobody is interested in knowing what is happening.
I expect a change in this era of Change; I believe sooner than later, there will be a shake-up in NYSC, like it is happening in Customs.
