Obinna Ekezie, Wakanow MD, wins Entreprenuer of the Year award for 2015

In a momentous event that will shape the history of Wakanow in Africa as one of the continents foremost travel management companies, the MD of Wakanow, Obinna Ekezie was honoured with the West African Entrepreneur of the year Awards for 2015 at the AABLA awards organized by All Africa Business Leaders Awards in partnership with the CNBC Africa.



The event which took place at the Eko Hotels and Towers in Victoria Island Lagos on Thursday the 22nd of October, saw the presence of the big wigs in commerce including the former minister of finance, Lamido, SanusiLamido, the former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr KayodeFayemi and several notable business leaders across Africa.

The All Africa Business Leaders Awards (AABLA) in partnership with CNBC Africa honours remarkable leadership and salutes game changers of business on the continent for their continuing commitment to excellence, developing best practices and innovative strategies.

Obinna described the journey of Wakanow as a fulfilment of a dream for a better travel experience for Nigerians and Africans at large and made a commitment to continuing in the path of the core values of AAbla towards exemplary leadership, strength, innovation, ingenuity, knowledge and foresight in leading Wakanow to becoming the a major building block to the success of the African economy.
