Man kills wife's lover after finding them in bed together

Samson Malesi, 27, a guard with a security firm in Nairobi killed his wife's lover on Sunday night Nov. 1st after finding them in bed together. The victim (pictured above) Simon Wafula, 37, was stabbed several times in the stomach. It didn't end there, Malesi then drove a nail into his head, killing him instantly.

Witnesses said Malesi burst in on the two after relatives and neighbours tipped him of an ongoing affair. Wafula's wife of eight years Beatrice told The Star that her husband had left home to attend a funeral in the neighboring village on Sunday night.

"We were shocked to receive the news that my husband, whom we have five children with, had been killed after being found with another man’s wife," Beatrice said.

Bungoma South police boss said the father of four has been arrested and will be charged with murder as soon as investigations are complete. Malesi's wife has since gone missing.

      He may be acquitted by the court. He can plead temporary insanity as a defence. He can claim that he was made insane temporary by the heat of the moment brought about by seeing his wife and the deceased naked in bed together. A good lawyer can get him free or get him convicted of a lesser offence like involuntary manslaughter.
