After being granted bail by the magistrate court in Abeokuta, the Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun this morning November 1st allegedly ordered the rearrest of Ojo Emmanuel, a blogger who has been at loggerhead with the him over allegations that spread a false story about the First Lady of Ogun State on social media.

Ojo was rearrested at the court premises of the magistrate court by men of the mobile police force at the resumed hearing of the case against him by the state governor. Ojo is said to be presently at the state command office in cuffs with no charges yet.

What did she do wrong by quoting scriptures pls? Why are people like u so mean? Pls stop sitting in bed with your phone, bullying people online with the data units u got from the money u borrowed. Or the credit units someone dashed u.

  14. I wonder how on earth would a blogger spread unconfirmed information about someone in the first place. That aside. I am beginning to believe that the published content on the Ogun State First Lady is true. Why would Ibikunle Amosun re order the arrest of the blogger if his wife and himself has clean hands?

SIA should have allowed the court to sit and bring justice to which ever party that is involved. I wonder when freedom and of speech will have it full life in Nigeria.

    Help us God!

  35. WHY AMOSUN? SO NO FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION AGAIN IN THE CONSTITUTION OF YOUR STATE?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Freedom of expression does not give you right to publish or say things you can not defend against another person. Freedom of speech is not a permit for recklessness with your tongue or pen,
