Photo: Champagne bucket as seen in Ibadan

A compere shared the photo of a table at an event he hosted in Ibadan today on instagram & wrote
"In Ibadan, when they say champagne bucket, they really do mean BUCKET. This was quite interesting to see on all the tables at the party .#champagnebucket champagnebuckets. From what I heard, the champagne didn't taste any different".

  68. I was at this party in Ibadan it was a great party plenty to eat and drink.yes I saw this ice buckets but for someone to take the picture and send it to Linda is despicable. For the idiot to be there for the funeral probably from Lagos on a weekday means you are close family so acting like a Buffon is terrible

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I took the picture and do take other pictures that interest me and wish to say the following, for me it was just a candid shot which I posted on my instagram page and made no mention of the family and as far as I am concerned, I didn't mean it to be derogatory, yes I am close to he family and even went ahead to say the champagne didn't taste different, what did you make of that? I didn't send this to Linda Ikeji, it was on my page where I have just a few followers and don't know how it got here. To call me an idiot and to say I was acting like a buffon(what does this mean?)? I would rather not respond to because you made too many incorrect assumptions. The party was great and we had a good time, it would be nice for you to however mind your language when you comment but I chose not to descend to that level.

  71. Na wa o!! I didn't know that this my picture would generate so much tribal sentiments, I just saw this and thought it was amusing, I wasn't casting aspersions on ibadan people, I am also from the west. People have left the picture which is supposed to amuse us and focused on where the picture was taken. I guess it would have been different if I didn't mention Ibadan, lets all see the lighter side and enjoy it!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Being local is a thing of the mind, definitely such people exist everywhere. Forever in love with IB.

  73. lol..... abeg all these so called tribal sentiment rubbish.... yall should take a chill pill and know when things are funny.... be loosing yourselves like you have no humor in yall.... for real the picture is funny... ibadan be repping since 1900

  74. This has nothing to do with Ibadan. It's buhuuu to the person who was a guest at such party. That's probably an event in one of the thick Ibadan villages.
