stranded at JAMB office gate this morning. According to the person who
shared these pictures, the protesting parents were told to go back to

Jamb office in ikoyi is jx like a God-forsaken place these days. Old buildings with few workers who can't even handle prospective students. ANYWAYS, they should go to unilag to channel their grievances

Instead of encouraging your children to take their books seriously, u come to the streets to protest. Reading culture amongst youths is dying & parents are to blame. Teachers or nannies won't do everything for u..Back in the days people had high jamb scores & still didn't get admission. High jamb scores was a thing of pride which u earnestly work towards. All u had to pray for was for the school to accept. These parents should be ashamed. After u'll lament that youths are this & that.. I guess these ones don't have work to do than stand in front of jamb office.. u know where to put ur children if his score is not high enough. There are colleges of education, polytechnics & private universities.

Jamb is nt fair atall.. U guys wuld hv tld us bfr. We wrote d jamb dat d cutoff mark wuld b 250 ..nobody planned fr this.. Even thoes dat even get up to 250 u guys accepted dem to go to unilag.. Pls am beggin in d name of God to pls accept frm 200… am also affected to dats y am talking

Jamb should be able to talk to the school to bring down their cut-off points, not sending parents to go there and do the talking. After all na jamb start all this drama.

Linda, the problem is not unilag, its a new policy from jamb. Jamb has redistributed those candidates to other schools. The policy involves quota system, I think unilag has it published on their site, people should go on their website to read with their own eyes what jamb has done.

This things should not happen when our youths are very much willing to read and face their exams even if Unilag say cut off mark nah 300 they will still be qualified every one just want to cut corners and expect to suceed
Some parents no get sense!!! no dignity!! no shame!!!! On their paths they have failed to guide their kids by mentoring them to study hard. I trust myself if I were to be a parent I would not protest at all. JAMB set a cut off mark for all universities at miserable low mark of 180. The cut off means minimum mark to admit a student into university not maximum.

If their kids can't make above d minimum mark, then let them go to another school naa, is it by for to go to Unilag? 35,000 applicants to Lag alone, if they don't raise d mark, how are they supposed to cope when they hv space for only 5000? Yet if they admit all n no space to sit in d classrooms, these same kids of theirs will send pics to Linda n make mockery of the school. Nonsense!
