According to political analysts, the South East has lost the opportunity of producing the next Senate President or the Speaker of the House of Representative in the Gen Buhari-led administration come May 29th. According to political calculations, anyone who is to occupy these positions must come from the ruling party. Since the number one and two positions have already been taken by Gen Buhari a Hausa man and Prof Osinbajo, a Yoruba man, the Igbos were favored to produce the third key official, the Senate President.
But with all the 15 senatorial seats in the South East states of Anambra, Abia, Imo, Enugu & Ebonyi won by the PDP in last week's elections, the Ibos may have lost out in producing the next Senate president.
Senator Chris Ngige representing Anambra Central senatorial district who many believe was being positioned by the APC to be the next Senate President lost his bid to return to the Senate to PDP's Uche Ekwunife.

IGBO: A nation ruined by sentiment & wrong permutatioñ.
I was looking @ d list of Senators elect for the 8th National Assembly in Nigeria and I discovered that S/E (IGBO) is the only región that kept their polical eggs in one basket, they are d only región without a Senator from the new rúling party, even the S/S whose course they claim to be fighting still has an APC senator. The implication of this is that the Igbo shud be ready to take the back seat the Yoruba took in the GEJ administratioñ. I am sure the Ndigbo wud be quick to blame the Northerners and d Yorubas for their misfortune when d impending backseat arrives, but the truth is that they shot themselves in the foot with a sentimental permutatioñ of putting all eggs in a basket. For Example, if the Igbo has only one APC senator atleast, it wud av been an automatic senate présidency slot for them. But as it is now, the S/S the Igbo were fighting for may eñd up clinching the Senate president slot through their Edo APC senator. That's what u get when u cry more than the bereaved. While the likes of Tompolo, Dokubo, Clárk and other S/S warlords will go back home to enjoy their share of the GEJ loots-contract and still nurse hope of having a strong political mouth piece in d incoming govt, the Igbo wud be left to lick their wounds as their only beneficiary of the GEJ govt, Okonjo Iweala will go back to her abroad base, while the likes of Stella Oduah will keep a date with the EFCC. IGBO KWENU! How market?

Well, that is what unforgiving spirit does to haters. I cannot imagine that with all Okoroocha's campaign, a lot of Igbos did not listen because they are thinking about the past.
